Day three of post op...... Surgery was on the 23rd and now I am on day three of healing. It is not that bad at all. I have gas and some soreness around the incision but that is all. I am happy that GOD brought me through this surgery!!

This is day three post op and I am doing well. I am sore but all and all I am okay!! I really thought it was going to be worst... Thank God it is not worst then anticipated. How are you?? How is the weight loss??

I am a post op person now!!! I am now banded and on my way to weight loss and good health!!

I am doing well!!! I survived the surgery......

I had the surgery yesterday and I am home today!! I don't feel bad and the pain is bearable.

I hope you are doing okay. You have not been on in a couple of days and I am concerned about you !!!! We all need support to get through and I am here for you.

I can do all things with and through God!! Tomorrow is my big day and I am ready for the change in my life.

Thank you for sending prayers my way. I taught kindergarten for 10 years and now I am teaching pre k. We need a lot of energy to deal with the early childhood grades.

Congratulations in losing so much weight!!!! I am sure you will lose the next 30 pounds with ease. I will be banded on Tuesday and I am so nervous. How did you know this was the right thing for you??

I will be banded on the 23rd of August. Are you happy with your decision so far??? What kind of post op diet are you on??? I am on a puree diet after surgery. I am on a liquid diet now.

Hello.... Long time no chat!!! You look great!!! You look truly beautiful in all of your pictures. I will have my surgery on the 23rd of this month. I really took my time to see if this is what I NEEDED more then a want. I gained even MORE weight. I am way nervous about if I am doing the right thing and if this journey is going to be a difficult one to stay on.

Hello... how are things going??? I am having my surgery on August 23rd and Dr. Holover is my surgeon. I hope that this lapband works because it has been a lot of work trying to get it.

Wow we have some things in common. I am a teacher as well and I pushed for August too. My surgery date is the 23rd of August. I hope I am doing well when school starts as well. I go back September 6...

I am doing okay.... I do not have a date yet for the surgery but I am almost there. I have to see the nutritionist and then I will get the date for the change that I really need in my life.

I would like to take the time and tell you that you really look great in your pictures!!! I hope and pray that you feel as great inside.

So how far are you in the pre op path to lapbanding??? The last thing I have to do is go to the nutritionist.

Gurlllllll!!!! I hope it is getting a little better because I am feeling your pain and I don't like pain!!!! How is the weight loss going?? Are you still on liquids??

Who is your Doctor for the lapband? I am using a Dr.Holover in long Island.

I have GHI and it is a 6 month waiting period. You have to get weighed for 6 monthsssss before approval. I have seen all of the needed to see doctors and have the nutritionist to see in October but I still have to wait. I started the pre op stuff in August.

Mbwalker the surgery through your belly button is HARD!!!! I had my tubes tied and it was through my belly button an it was the worst pain on EARTH!!!! So I do understand and that my be the reason for all of the pain you are experiencing. Keep your eyes on the prize and know that there is no easy way to get anything in life~ Just know you are going to be the best you!!! That you can be very soon! 11 pounds Yeah!!!
