Hello I think you read my mind this morning. I was going to post the same thing. Today makes 4 weeks post-op for me. For the first couple of weeks I felt some kind of restriction and would get a hiccup and I would stop eating/drinking now I feel nothing and I am able to eat crackers, cereal etc... I have not had a fill yet but I think I need one & fast!!!!
You are not alone. I am having that same feeling at first I thought it was my incision but the burning is below the incision. I have no idea what to do about it. I hope it just goes away.
Hello,
I was banded on aug 19 and I am stilll on the liquids as well. It has been very hard but I know that it will be worth it in the long run. You have to take it one day at a time. Just think about much weight will be loss. The only uncomfort I have is where the port is located. Stay strong & positive. With all the support on the forum we all will make it!!!
:drool:THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTIONS & RESPONSES. I started writing in a journal yesterday just to get some things off my chest. Today I woke up with a new outlook on things. I did this for my health & it was the right thing for me. I am looking forward to much success on this lap band journey.
I have had about three days of uncontrollable emotions. I feel like I have no control over things not being able to eat is more serious than I ever imagined. Please help.
Hello I had surgery the same day you did & I understand exactly how you feel. Last night I was crying and felt like I made a mistake as well. I feel disoriented, confused, and frustrated. We have to take it one day at a time and I know we will survive. Let's think about the final results. You will be fine.
