I have dieted on and off most of my adult life. I was always able to lose at least a few ponds and sometimes a lot. But always ended up regaining plus more. I eventually gave up dieting and spent years listening to my doctors say "you know you ought to lose weight" And I would say yea yea I know. I even was diagnosed with sleep apnea,  high blood pressure, high triglycerides, high cholesterol.  But then I was diagnosed with pre diabetes and I did not want to have to eventually stick myself with a needle everyday. I did some research and discovered that there is a CURE for all these problems out there. Its called weight loss. I wish my doctor had stated it that way, a CURE.  I would have done something sooner.
