  1. This is a great blog and great comments. Your not alone I was banded Aug 24th and just recently have been in a bad mood. I have 2 little girls age 3 and 7 and I am becoming short with them and have no patience. I also have a fit husband who is getting on my nerves at times. I went off the deep end when I could not find my girls box that I keep barrettes and ponytail holders in and I feel bad mainly because I took it out on hubby. I'll have a better day tomorrow. Found the box (the little one hid it) LOL. But it's those little things that can make you lose it among everything else I've been through this past week and a half. Well it feels good to write about it and I sure the mood will get better. Thanks for this blog.

I am a newby also. Was banded in 8/24. At 4 days post op I'm feeling gassy but things r moving and runny from all the liquids. Hardly no pain, just uncomfortable. You can add me as a friend I'd love to know how you r doing with this.
  3. Wow that's great. That's interesting I to have sleep apnea and my MD wants to try me on a med that produces wakefulness also. I hope when he prescribes it, it will work for me. Can't stand being tired all the time. Going for my surgery tomorrow feeling a little nervous but excited as well.

I'll remember that when I go for my surgery tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. Pain med, walk, burp and pass gas. Got it! Good Advice ThinnerNurse!
  5. Hi Sarah we have something in common, the same surgical date and this is my first time on this website. I just registered today. Trying hard also to get down all these protein shakes. Getting sick of them now. But still trudging along. I'm nervous and excited as well about the surgery. Hope we can encourage each other.
