Surgery 08/12 First Fill Today 10/13

Soo, I waited 2 months before getting my first fill instead of the suggested 4-6 weeks..wanted to see what I could do on my own, I lost 5 pounds..Im not mad about that at all because I really had no restrictions...I started at 270lbs in March. Day of Surgery 259 and current weight 240...My goal is somewhere between 180-190...I'm tall 1 day of liquids...lets see how much I can loose during the next 6 weeks!

Size 22 to a 16, what to do about my clothes??

    Thanks!!...All great ideas!
  7. When I decided to get LapBand I weighed 275lbs, lost about 20 on my own, I am two weeks post op and weigh 242...4 months ago my clothes were size 22, went to try on clothes at the store yesterday, I can wear size 16:thumbup:..I promised that I would not by clothes because I'm going to be loosing epescially at the beginning....Here is the issue, I'm in a professional, that requires me to wear suite every day..ALL my suites are way to big, they are litterally hanging off me and looks like I borrowed them...I hate the thought of buying more suites when they probably will not fit after a month....and we all know suites are not cheap...what to do:confused:
  8. I am impressed that you lost weight before the surgery. I am now 262... The biggest I have ever been. I am only 5'5 so you know I look like a basket ball. I am trying to motivate myself to exercise but I am soooooooo discouraged by the number on the scale. Good Luck on losing the rest of your weight! I know you will do well because you are determined.

  9. You're welcome, Thanks I have been great since surgery. Its been exactly two weeks, I feel restricted and have no pain around the wound/port area. I am getting an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, I am currently a Director a Human Resources but I'm am stuck in the same salary bracket until I get my Master's, I will be done next year!...Go for it, going back to school is alway a plus!

    Two Weeks Post Op

Two Weeks Post Op and sometimes I forget that I had surgery! (In a good way), I have no pains what so ever in my wound/port area, I move around Just as I did before. I do feel restriction, I am on mushy foods and have to force myself to eat a reasonable portion size, worried i'm not getting in enough calories because I have to force myself to eat, I just have to appetite doctor cleared me to go to Zumba, went twice this week don't want to over do it. Week four I will go to Zumba three time a week, and do weights twice a week, upper body, then lower body! can't wait!
