Soo, I waited 2 months before getting my first fill instead of the suggested 4-6 weeks..wanted to see what I could do on my own, I lost 5 pounds..Im not mad about that at all because I really had no restrictions...I started at 270lbs in March. Day of Surgery 259 and current weight 240...My goal is somewhere between 180-190...I'm tall   1 day of liquids...lets see how much I can loose during the next 6 weeks!
When I decided to get LapBand I weighed 275lbs, lost about 20 on my own, I am two weeks post op and weigh 242...4 months ago my clothes were size 22, went to try on clothes at the store yesterday, I can wear size 16:thumbup:..I promised that I would not by clothes because I'm going to be loosing epescially at the beginning....Here is the issue, I'm in a professional, that requires me to wear suite every day..ALL my suites are way to big, they are litterally hanging off me and looks like I borrow
Two Weeks Post Op and sometimes I forget that I had surgery! (In a good way), I have no pains what so ever in my wound/port area, I move around Just as I did before.   I do feel restriction, I am on mushy foods and have to force myself to eat a reasonable portion size, worried i'm not getting in enough calories because I have to force myself to eat, I just have to appetite   doctor cleared me to go to Zumba, went twice this week don't want to over do it.   Week four I will go to Zumba thre
Im 7 days post op...no pain..Drove for the first time today and it was easy, went to the mal, fun fun...no problem getting in and out of bed....Not hungry but had a taste for the pizza that I ordered for my son..aroma filled the house....So i took i bite,,chewed but didn't swallow...did that couple of times and it satisfatifed my craving!
Today, I feel really good. yesterday was a bit of struggle with the gas, but lots of walking and warm broth soup did the job!...I have no appetitite and worried I won'te be able to take in enough protein, just don't have the appetite to drink thick drinks..I have been drinking water even added Kellogs protein water mix to help...well, it has 5 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber...therefore causing my first BM only 3 days post op...not sure if that is bad or good...i hope my appetitite incre
I am scheduled for surgery on Thursday I have been reading post of folks taking off for two weeks, how long is recovery. My doctor told me 3- 5 days, I was prepared to return to work the following Tuesday...is that to soon:ohmy:
