  1. Hi everyone. Just thought I would pop in and say hi! I am excited to almost be in the 100's! Yeah! Congrats everyone!
  2. Way to go Beversman....we are unstoppable! Congrats on the catcall. lol. I was on the ferry yesterday and noticed a few looks I don't usually get. I thought WTH....I guess I am not invisible anymore. Kind of a wierd feeling.
  3. Wow everyone is doing so great. I am going to need to come here for inspiration (and hopefully to inspire) more often! You guys are great! Congrats on all the pounds lost. Hope you are all doing well. I am exercising a lot, eating pretty good. Funny, the only 'bad' thing I crave is icecream, and I think it is because it does down so easy. oops. And the only thing I can't touch....eggs. Wierd eh? Nice reading about you, and I will try to post more often. xoxo
  4. Tonijo, you are a true inspiration to us!!! Your positive attitude has helped you so much, and it sounds like you really know yourself. You are doing great and will continue to get better and better inside and out! Yeah for you!
  5. Hi Audree. I had the same reaction, it took a couple weeks and then the gates of hell slammed shut! Nothing would go down easy. I seem to be at a good level but I havn't had a fill since Mar 15. I am taking very good care of my body and mind and that seems to help alot as well. Glad to hear from you, you look amazing. I will post some pics too!
  6. Hi Audree. I thought I would take a couple minutes of time today and go on this site, and here you are, AND YOU LOOK FANTASTIC. WOW! I am down 69 pounds now, so I am officially 1/2 way. I will email you a pic soon! Congrats!
  7. I am still learning to listen to my body, but full is when I feel the first twinge of hiccups coming on. That is my signal to stop eating NOW.
  8. My scale is still p'ing me off but I think I am doing OK with inch loss. It is hard nto to get discouraged but I am keeping on keeping on. Have to keep the big picture in mind. Will write more later. Take care everyone.
  9. I have been at 2.5 since March and I think I need a small top up. Just need to make the time. I have been plateaued for about 6 weeks, but have been exercising a lot too, so realistically, I know I have gained some muscle. Can eat pretty much whatever I want, in small quantities.
  10. Hi Everyone. Just thought I would pop in and say hi. I am doing well. The scale is giving me a hard time, but I am trying to stay focussed on inches right now. I have been doing 2 different boot camps, so something good must be happening. NSV...my uniforms are a med now...a little tight, but still a med!!! My mom had a mastectomy and unfortunatley the cancer has spread. They are starting chemo in a couple weeks. Your positive thoughts are appreciated. Thank you for the support. I haven't had a fill since march...seem to be ok with that. Have a lot of restriction when I eat 'good' foods. I have someone helping me with nutrition, so that helps too. That is all for now. I enjoy reading your posts, even though I don't always join in. Well, gotta run, I am off to bootcamp before work. Have a great day everyone!
  11. As with any surgery, you just have to wait it out. Congrats on your decision. I am sure you will be feeling better in a few days.
  12. Hi Canada Sunshine. I don't live in GP but I am from there to visit my parents every couple of months. Maybe we can get together next time I am visiting. (Probably the end of June). Glad you are doing so well! Victoria.
  13. Great NSV. I am very happy for you. We really are investing in the quality of the rest of our lives! You are inspiring!
  14. Kayaking was fun but really heard on my back. I am feeling it from the waist up today tho, so it must be a pretty good workout. I think I will stick to canoeing.
  15. Dr Ortiz was excellent! Good luck
  16. In tried to kick my butt into exercise, it didn't work. I hired a trainer to kick it for me, and I made sure we were doing things I would like doing. It is expensive, butI know 9 times out of 10 I would have made an excuse had I not been accountable to her. This morning we are off to go kayaking....it is my frst time so I am really looking forward to it! You can do it, just decide! And Yoda is right, do it first thing in the morning. Now get out there...are you still reading....do it now!!! Hehe.
  17. Actress, first of all, it sounds like you are really feeling down about yourself. Our frame of mind has a lot to do with our ability to lose weight. Maybe try positive affirmations and celebrating your successes. Also, stay here daily! I find it really helps to read about other people's success. If they can do it, so can you! Hope you are feeling better, you have to tools to do this, love yourself and be kind to yourself, the rest will work itself out! Best wishes.
  18. Hi everyone Just checkig in to say hi...I am due for another fill as well....need to get my act together and get it done! Thanks for the encouragement.
  19. I haven't posted here in almost a month!! Where does the time go? I have had an upside down life the last month. Work has been super busy due to being short staffed and we moved and I am trying to get a second business going and work out and be there for my family.... you get the picture. It's ok tho, I know it is temporary and I am very happy. I think I am doing a lot better in my eating. I am trying to be consious of food intake even when I am not feeling restriction. Next week will be hard, my mom is having a mastectomy and she is 78 so I am worried. I am leaving for GP on thursday and I will spend as long as I need to with her. Thoughts and prayers on monday the 14th would be so appreciated. I have to believe everything will be fine. Well everyone, I hope this email finds you happy and healthy. Thanks for listening! Victoria
  20. Hi Chloe, hope all is well in your world. I have started working with a trainer 3 times a week and tonight she was drilling me about how often I weigh myself....daily. Anyways, I won't be giving her any ideas by sharing your story. Hope you have a sweet reunion. You are doing great!! Yippee!:clap2:
  21. Wow Yoda! You have done so well. You must be very proud. I have to agree though, a facial and waxing is in order! Congrats, you are looking thin thin thin!
  22. Hi everyone. I agree, I kept getting droped off with the new threads, but no biggy, I can find them eventually! I was plateaued for about a month as well and then whoosh, it came off. I am working with a trainer now, and that is kicking my butt! She is also helping me with healthy food choices. Need to update my ticker, I am down to 223! Whoo Hooo Take care everyone.
  23. Hi everyone! Just thought I would say hi. I mostly hang out on the Canadian thread. I just found our thread a little busy, but it looks like it has thinned out a little this month. (I'm clever and funny and didn't even mean to be!!) I have hit the wall. So, I have added more agressive exercise and hired a personal trainer and nutrition lady. Hopefully this gets me past the 50 lb mark. I wanted to be there now, my birthday today, but it didn't work out that way. I get another fill on May 5...thank God! Have a fabulous day everyone. Warm thoughts to all 'December Bandsters'. Victoria.
  24. Argon, thought the dress was absolutely perfect for your body...I would lose the red tie belt thingy. Otherwise it is a perfect 10, you look great! Congrats!
  25. You all are so sweet and I appreciate you so much. The DQ thing....I was laughing when I read it because that is exactly what I had...a kitkat blizzard...and I got them to put some cherries in too. I just made my mouth Water. My mom...we will not get any more news for about 10 days, they are checking to see if it has spread. I don't think they caught it early. I had my first workout with my trainer today. It was great. My scale has also come down a couple pounds, I am at 232 for the last few days. I want to be 229 for April 20 (my birthday), so I have been being very good. Thanks for making me laugh! Have a fabulous day everyone! Victoria.
