  1. hi i too am new but have been reading on here for about a month. my doctor found a surgeon that would do it and there discussing things and talking to my insurance company. they dont jnow yet if i should get lapband or gastric bypass because my bmi is so high..60 :ohmy:. i hope to get to know those of you starting your journey as well.
  2. thank you so much for sharing your story im actually crying. i am 374 pounds myself and only 15 and a half. i am going to get the lap band but i was afraid i wouldnt lose as much because im bigger but your sucess really opened my eyes and i know i can do it and will secseed. thank you and god bless :sad:
  3. also i forgot to ask i think im allergic to anestsia i vomit alot after surgery does anybody know anythin about that?
  4. hi my names rachael and i have a couple questions. how long from the time you started seeing the doctor did you have surgey. i heard you have to wait a year but then other people told me different so i would like to know. also what is the tests and stuff you have to do pre op? i havent even seen the doctor yet but i would like to be well informed brfoe i do it would give me security. thanks:biggrin:
