  1. You might be on to something, there is about $11,000 difference between lap-band and GB at the hospital I used. I agree with the others here, need to have a second opinion from someone more open minded.
  2. I was told that its the air inserted into your abdomen from when they did the surgery. They try to get it all sucked back out, but there is always a portion they cant get. My DR said to walk and move around, its like having pleurisy....also some people on here have mentioned a nerve that is in the stomach and it causes a pain there... I hope it feels better soon.
  3. Thanks everyone... Doesnt sound like I have anything to worry about. I did scare myself yesterday, took my nephew out to the splash park, didnt get wet but played a little, guess I got too much sun. Ran a low grade fever for a few hours, took a cool shower and was better. I guess I really am a newbie...LOL my friend teased that that was something she knew because she had had surgery before.
  4. Has anyone had diarrhea since getting banded? I was banded 6-10 and have had nothing but diarrhea (liquid) since surgery. Should I be worried?
