    Is 5cc a lot?

    I also had 5 cc on my first fill which was 5/28 and I'm still doing great with it....My doctor wants me to see in 5 weeks but so far I don't think I need to do so.....Good luck...Just listen to your body...Because sometimes after lunch (which is about 1:00pm I cant' eeat till 5 or 6pm...(I also drink 1 8oz of water in between.

    Pre Surgery diet not going so well... I'm starving...

    Hope everything went well for you. Welcome to the band world....Belive me it will get better...I guess for me want to loose weight so bad....I ate everything prior to my surgery...Now I'm ready to Eat To Live....Sometimes I have so much energy from what eat...I can't sleep at night or I'm to excited about my accomplishments. I was banded on 3/28/10 and now lost 35lbs...It will get better...Good Luck!

    Loving Life More Now

    Did my 30 minutes of aerobics and floor excercise...My knees was screaming "GET OFF OF Me" but as Denis Austin says " You Got To Burn Butter". That is what kept me motivated.... Hoping to loose 10 lbs at the end of the month.....I'll tell you how I did....:eek:

    feeling good

    :eek::smile:Feeling Good, Feeling Good, I lost 30lbs. I have 20 more to go for one of my first shopping sprees..Which will give me a total weight loss of 50lbs. I finally got it...Lay off on the carbs...I eat carbs maybe twice a week...I eat more protein and also drink it, vitiamin D and fruits and vegetables... Every now and than I'll also eat no sugar ice-cream, or fiber one muffins...(which you make from the box...)....Well they say it's never to late to learn..I even start jumping rope with my daughters.....I am now at 215. I give myself realist goals..Such as by August or maybe sooner you never know...I shuld have lost the 20lbs... Good luck everyone...I hope you find what foods work for you and what excercise program works for you...Because I sure found it.....:thumbup:...I still have 75 more pounds to go...But I am enjyong the ride.

    8 LBS. from goal

    You are my inspiration...I am also eating like I am a diabetic even though I'm not....every you say that you are doing. I'm doing it also...I've lost 30l-lbs in 76 days..... I give myself short term goals and meet them... Thank yo for sharing your story....You already won in my book.

    Post-op Day 15 (6/5)

    I'm going to give you some real good advice.....Before surgery Im pretty sure you were eating whatever you want....Now that you had surgery you have to talk real baby steps....Mac&chesee, personally is a nono...It's hght an calories and the mac it's self when entering the body turns in sugar...(anything white such as flour, spaghetti for now I say wait a few more months before introducing it to the new you. I'm pretty sure you may have gotten a little nausa from some of the foods you have eaten.....If you want to loose 1 or2 pounds a week....Stick with protein mainly and low-fat or no fat foods.....     Having Surgery Tuesday

    stay on liquids as much as possible...You don't want the surgeons telling at the last minute that they won't do the surgery because all of the foods that's in your system...I knew a patient that was turned away on surgery date because she was eating foods on a regular...If you get hungry...Try sugar free applessauce, sugar free pudding...things that won't stick in your system.....GOOD LUCK...I HAD MY LAP BAND SURGERY ON 3-25-10..AND SO FAR I LOST 30LBS. I AM STILL EXCITED AND MOTIVATED....GOOD LUCK...YOU CAN DO IT...WE ALL CAN IF WE PUT OUR MINDS TO IT.

    Congradulations.....Now here is when the work really starts to work....Remember whenever you want to go back to an old habit...Tell yourself " I didn't get this surgery for nothing"....If you get hungry try low fat yogurts, sugar free puddings, low fat cream cheese and whole wheat crackers, decaf beverages, cream soups....protein shakes....There are foods that can help....Don't try any regular foods until yur doctor tell you so....Because you may be hungry for it but your insides are not ready......Good luck.!

    Struggle

    how is your excercise.....? I had my surgery March 25, 2010...Lost 26 lbs so far...I'm feeling great...Even though the scale doesn't move as fast....My clothes are saying something different....You may be loosing inches a whole lot more than you think..... Try to stick to a routine workout process at 30 minutes/5x a week.....Also try to remember keep you meals very simple....Write down everything including the ketchup you use.....You have to be patient...Your metabolsm maybe a little slow because maybe you are eating more carbs than protein and vegetables.....REMEMBER PROTEIN AND VEGETABLES ARE THE MAIN THING WE SHOULD BE INPUTING more so than carbs....And if you get hungry in-between....Try decaf beverages, protein shakes, smoothies and fruit and also try your hardest to keep your snacks under 100 calories....GOOD LUCK....HOPE TO HEAR SOMETING POSITIVE.

    Banded 12/30/2009, no weight loss for two weeks

    well maybe your are also drinking to much fluid...Remember the foods you eat also have fluid in them.....Also try more healthier snacks...If your hungry after breakfast drink glass of water 1/2 hour after eating.....then 1/2 hour later eat a healthy snack.....such as fruits and vegetables...Maybe your calorie intake is to high...Maybe try 1000 calories per day......Also go on realizemysuccess.com....They have healthier low calorie snacks and meals......GOOD LUCK...!!

    feeling good

    got my first fill on friday 6/21....Had to go on a 2 day full liquid diet was hard but on the third day had puree foods and work out pretty good......Looking forward to getting on the scale this week....
