  1. If you live anywhere near a Ross it's a great place to shop. Good merchandise with low prices. You just need to have patience to look. Good luck!

  4. Good for you for getting back on track. I know it's not easy but you have proven that you can do it by losing 50 or 60 pounds. Hang in there ...all of us bandsters understand the struggle!!!! Good luck to you!!!

My suggestions would be to chew more times than you think you should have to! Also my doctor has me seperating my liquids from my eating. It takes a minute to get used to it but it does work. If the unpleasantness you are experincing continues you should ask your doctor. Good luck with everything!!

I haven't thrown up at all and I was banded in Sept. I have had one fill and one thing I know for sure. The band is a tool. You have to be mindful. I discovered over the weekend that I can still eat all the Whole Foods gingerbread my heart desires...sooo I know that I have to take resposibility for what goes in my mouth. I have lost weight but the band is not an easy out! Good luck in your journey!

Of course....I do!! I have only been banded for 1 1/2 months and have lost weight. I sometimes feel like the devil is on one shoulder and an angel is on the other. I guess that is just part of the process. Keep up your good work and we will all encourage each other!!

    Many congratulations to you!!!!!!
  18. Ditto to the other responses. Life is waaaaay too short!!Please don't postpone another moment in your life because you are concerned about what you might look like to someone else. Be proud of what you have done, what you are doing and the fact that you have a man who wants you with him on the bike. What a happy moment that will be..and make sure you take pictures!!! Good luck!
  19. How true!! A student brought me 3 homemade cookies. I told him not to but he did anyway. Well needless to say I took a teeny bite of one, spit it out and threw the rest away. I know that I can't even start going down the cookie road. One bad choice takes me from my goal. Congrats for staying strong in the face of temptation and good luck to you in your journey!!!
  20. Good luck to you. I understand the journey that you have had so far and believe me the band will help you immensely!! It is a tool not a quick fix but it so helps so much in the process. I wish you much success and I know you will continue to be a great role model for your daughter!

Let's see...26 pounds lighter, people notice your loss....you can see it all over your body and your clothes are baggy and loose. That sounds like a whole lot to celebrate!!!!!! Sometimes you can tell a bigger difference when you go to try on new clothes. You are obviously doing a great job so don't be discouraged.
  22. Congratulations on your good numbers and on your success over the past year. I am so sorry for the loss of your grandma and can only imagine how proud she would be of what you are doing to preserve your health!!! keep up the great work.
