  1. I have been banded for three years and after having my band for 12 months I fell pregnant with twins.I spoke to my surgeon who advised me not to have anything taken out of my band unless heartburn became an issue.I had no problems but made sure I made good choices when I ate.I also increase my milk intake.Needless to say I have 2 healthy,happy two year olds and as an added bonus lost 28 pounds during the pregnancy.I dont know how I would have done it without the band I was petrified that I would have gained 50 pounds without it.Goodluck hope everything goes well
