  1. Hi Junies, My date just got moved up to June 30th  from July 7th. I've been drinking 2-3 shakes a day and one healthy meal (low fat protein, a salad & 1/2 C. carbs + 2 Fruit servings a day) It has shrunk my stomach alot. I've lost 15 lbs. slowly since Jan. I wanted to try different Shakes and Protein drinks to find which ones I liked. I had to see a Dietician in Feb. so she suggested the above. Good luck June bandsters. We need to help each other as much as possible  I will have to start Protein shakes 2 weeks before surgery:rolleyes2:. Carol D'
  2. Nean, Your health is not a joke and I'd let him know it. All you're asking for is a little support. Then you are going to go in your room or take a ride or a walk. Stick up for yourself!! You are going to do this!! I'm sure this is the hardest time just post-op. BE Strong!! We're behind you. I'm hoping you'll be there when I need your help:smile2:? Carol D'
  3. Hi Marion, Silly typo!! I'm supposed to do 2 weeks with 4 shakes and one light meal of 4 oz. lean Protein, salad + 2 fruits per day! Not as bad as other pre-op diets I've been hearing. Enjoy the weekend!!! Carol D'

  6. I am 5 weeks pre-op. I started mourning my best friend "FOOD" a couple weeks ago. I decided to talk to a therapist to discuss my life long love affair with food. I know I'm going to go thru the same cravings:scared2: but I will fight like hell to stay with the program. We have to remember FOOD has ruled our lives long enough. My health has been ruined by Food. Now we all want to feel better!!! We are here to support each other. Please hang in there everyone!!
