Was thin all my life and was 110 lbs until my husband asked me to marry him ....my nerves and my lifestyle change; together they created an increase in calorie in put. When I gained 15lbs in three months I started trying to find ways to lose it. Would lose five then regain more. This continued until I was 175lb and then decided to have a baby. The weight issue continued to grow no matter what I tried and with every failure came more weight. Started to become panicked when my health started to be affected so although I wanted to do this without surgery I decided after a lot of research and seeing friends success with surgery I decided to let my pride go and get the tools to succeed once and for all!  It's never too late to get to goal as long as you never give up!  I haven't and I know deep down inside I will succeed once I have the right tools!  The Lap Band is a tool that will give me a chance to shrink!  My nutritionist will help me to learn how to eat right again and my family and friends will join me in my efforts to get moving....Exercise is important but it has to be the right kind of exercise for me.....walking, dancing, swimming and those types of exercise are the things that I will not stop doing and as I gain strength in my muscles I will then do other exercises like hiking, mountain climbing and biking....maybe even roller blading and ice skating!  The key to the door is now in my hand and I plan on making the best of it once I walk through to the other side!  Good bye bad habits....Hello New habits!  Been a long time coming but it is coming!Wishing everyone luck on their journey to a new lifestyle that will bring health but I know happiness only comes from within so Live Life to the fullest and smile!
