1-19-07 4:35pm Gave Scott all my new member information from my new card he looked at my chart and said that he would call in the notification requirement to the insurance company. He’s letting them know that I’m ready for surgery he is also going to send in the pre determination letter and clinical information when it is requested. He said I might find out before him if I got approved or not!!! Now im waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From what i understand the approval is good for a year By the time i get the surgery I will have my mind made up for sure!!! love ya Teresita and Btsoph (?)

Now Im having second thoughts about the surgery!!! I'm scared to call in and give the membership information now. I think I'm going crazy I'll talk more about it on tmrw. Thinking about just having breast reduction surgery. I can't seem to get it together. :faint: :help:

Has Anyone Had Surgery Done By Dr. H Rivas!! I Have Many Questions

Well no card yet I called UHC to see what the problem was and she said that my HR dept hadnt ordered the new cards yet!!! :phanvan And that I was to call in the make the order. So after saying some kind words to her I reordered the cards which should be here with in 10 days.:phanvan She went ahead and gave me the membership card information to give to my lap band doctor. She said I would have to pay 1500 out of pocket she said that the doctor would have to send a letter of predtermination to them via fax or mail. :nervous She said it would take 30 to 45 days for approval??? I called the doctor office left a message for the insurance guy and now I'm thinking about changing doctors.:straight :straight I found out two of the staff members left the office. And for some reason that didnt sit well with me. Everytime I call the insurance guy he never answers :paranoid :paranoid so now I have made a new appt with a Dr. Jaysaleen *I spelled his name wrong* but his staff seems to have alot of knowledge and are always there to anwer the phone. Maybe I'm being to picky but I want to know that someone will be there to answer the phone when I call. :nervous

yep doing good I've had maybe 3 cups of soda since November so Im doing good still to scared to get on a scale. I came down with a really bad cold 2 weeks ago that had my lungs filled with mucus so now im talking temporary breathing treatments and i just finished some antibod so i have to eat more and rest more also.
