  5. hi, welcome to LBT. the pain WILL stop. have you been taking your pain meds regularly? if not, try to do that. i've heard walking helps with the gas. it does get better... :Dancing_biggrin: and good decision on forgoing the burger... :glare:

  11. WOOO HOOO ... i am SO excited for you Steph!!
  12. hey Rain... yup ... my sister is now dieting (so i hear from my mom)... she doesnt want to be the fat sister. she found out i wear 14s or 16s and freaked out cause she's in 18s... you look great btw ...
  13. best of luck to you all today!
  14. personally, i wouldnt do a TT with any other procedure. i know many on here have, but i just dont know how they did it.. you cannot engage your abs after the tt, so even getting in/out of bed, up/down from toilet is a big deal ... showering - MAJOR ordeal that pretty much requires supervision. i cannot imagine trying to get out of bed not using my abs or my arms (both breast work and arm work would limit arm movement/strength) just my thoughts ... good luck!
  15. well, technically not losing the weight should be motivation enough ... but ... when i exercise, i feel energized ... how do YOU feel after a tough work out? do you feel great, wonderful like you could take on the world? does it boost your energy, relieve your stress? just get up and do it ... you'll lose those 5 pounds - and they'll stay lost.
  16. we want LBT to be a positive place so we can only give positive reputation ....
  17. well, i think you're nuts, but not cause you look at MMH pics ... :rolleyes2::wink2:
  18. :rolleyes2: salsa, thanks ... if i can show one person that a 400+ pound non-moving food-aholic (yes, still - at least the food part) can lose almost half my body weight and love getting up and walk/running, it's worth publishing everything... the good and the not so good ... the Minnie is only (ha - only) 15KM or 9.something miles. how are you training for your half? what training program are you using? if you dont have one, i can zip you mine if you'd like. you will need to up your cals (which for some is hard to do - not me - HA!) if there is not a Disney marathon next May (they are talking a Princess half instead of the Minnie for next year), if you want, i can try to come up and run it with you... we can virtually train together. good luck on your 5Ks, it is a great start!!!
  19. oh dear, she's back and disguised as Jack!!! :rolleyes2::scared2::tongue2:
  20. dont think so.. try it.
