Hello everyone. My name is Tracey and I had the band surgery on 3/24/08 @ Cenntennial Hospital in Nashville, Tn. Dr. Dyer is my surgeon. My beginning weight before surgery was 298. I have been post-op for approxiamtely one month and have lost 20 pounds!!!!! I am so glad I had this procedure done and excited about joining this informative site.:)

Congrats! That's great. I will have my surgery at UW-Health in Madison WI in late May or early June. I've started some better eating habits (a requirement before surgery) and have lost a bit. I need to get a scale! I avoided those for awhile now. Thanks for the positive email. :thumbup:
