  1. my goal for after plastics... to never have to shop at The Avenue, Lane Bryant or Target plus section again. i am still too chicken to shop at a regular store cause of "mah big bellie"... im still in a 18/20W bottoms, there are no non-plus sized equivalents to that... so i wait... not so patiently.

  12. sweethot, that's pretty much what i do too. i do 5.3ish for 2-3 mins then 4.5-4.6 for 2-3 mins and alternate. i notice, that my body bugg always logs more cals when i interval too. i love running... such a stress reliever!!
  13. Julie, sorry the stress got to you. i guess im 'lucky'... stress makes me tighter than i've ever been. i guess that's one way to drop the pounds. what about just a weekend away. Dallas area is nice this time of year... :Banane42:
  14. fizzled out, heck no!!! :welldoneclap: im getting ready for plastics!!
  15. hi Living, thanks for responding. im one of those oddballs (heh - imagine that) who did not move when i was fat. i would ask DH to get up off the couch to get me something to eat/drink... pathetic. im now running and love it ... i agree with the bodybugg. it is the perfect compliment to the band.
  16. the best things you could do is google bodybugg, their website is bodybugg.com or you can go to apexfitness.com. AND read this thread. i know its a lot but it explains things in great detail. good luck.
  17. i LOVE LOVE that tat Nina! beeeeeuteeeeful! i have a few myself. the obligatory rose on the ankle (my first), then a crescent moon and stars on my right hip, the Chinese character for 'energy' on my back and the tribal symbol that i attached on my lower back. YOU LOOK GREAT! once that skin is cut off you will be thin!! who would have thought 2 years ago we'd be here now??? oh dear, then what would they think of me?? **eyeroll** i am so excited for you guys!!!! Tami, your arms and shoulders look absolutely amazing!!! even your tummy, you can see the muscles. you are hot!! welcome Buffie, i'll add you to the top.
  18. oh nina, now that i re-read it, HIGHLY offended ...:wink: not. and to be honest, no i cannot imagine how i am going to be after my surgery. i dont remember not having a gut - - ever. even when i was in 2nd grade my belly was there. granted it wasnt as huge as it was/is now, but i've always had a belly... i have worked my ass off, but lately i've been slacking and the scales have shown it. even running this Saturday.... i go a mile run/walk combo and stop at a mile. and i am supposed to do a 9 mile marathon in May? dunno if i will make it. my DH ran 4.44 miles Saturday and it was his 3rd time out running... i feel like such a loser sometimes (and not in the good kind of way either). i am really excited for all of us and cant wait to hear how everyone does. **blush** Thanks Tami. you have been quite an inspiration to me for awhile now.. me weight loss is minimal lately. in fact, since August 13th, i've lost less than 20 pounds. my weight this morning was 263. last Monday, i was 267, so i may be getting my act together, but who knows??? eating crap and not working out is not a good combination... i go in for a fill tomorrow, hopefully that will help. ideally, i wanna drop another 16 pounds before surgery. my legs have gone down quite a bit with the weight loss. quite a bit of loose skin on my thighs - will have to be taken care of with more plastics im sure.. i am running now but cant go more than 3 mins without slowing down. but i run about 5.2-5.4 MPH when i run and my walking pace is 4.5-4.8. keep up with the running, it does help shaping the legs... as does strength training.
  19. sweet - yup, nearly everyday.. I feel naked without it. nina - you are TOO kind!!
  20. here's a pic of my lap. i am sitting down on the couch. my left hand is where my tummy used to extend to... i literally used to not be able to see my knees...
  21. i wasnt offended at all... dont worry about it unless someone says something.
  22. nina! you look great! my tummy is 10000 times worse. not sure if i will be brave enough to post naked belly pics. here are 2 from my last picture session. you REALLY cant see my tummy in all her glory (thank god). its still really big. REALLY.BIG.
  23. oh damn, TG! youch! i dont think id let a doctor 'dig around' with a needle... but im a woos!
