Not Sure What is Going On???????
at times this still is a chore for me. that's the head hunger. something tastes sooooo good that i dont want to stop eating it. 98% of the time, i do stop when satisfied. that other 2%, i get full and feel miserable for an hour or so.

Day 4: I think I'm losing it!
well damn, i have Marsden too and i seriously doubt he'd agree with one of his patients advising someone else that a little tuna wouldnt do harm. unless i missed the MD after your name?

Day 4: I think I'm losing it!
if someone is on liquids, i dont think it is a great idea to advise them to have tuna, even if you could. every doctor is different. Ultrageek - i know it's gotta be tough, but you can do it. anchor that band in place and heal properly. try upping your Protein and maybe a tad additional fat to keep you fuller longer. good luck, you can do it!

Exercise is About Your Health Not Your Weight
sorry, i whole heartedly disagree. exercising has given me an incredible boost in my weight loss. i see noticeable differences in my loss in the weeks i do exercise vs. the weeks i do not.

Disney anyone?
i was banded 10/2006 and went to disney 06/2007, i had no issues with my band and the rides we had a great time. in fact, we are going back May 2008 for me to run the Minnie Marathon. not sure about the meal plans, DH, DD & I just bought food when we got hungry, yeah, was kind of pricey, but i read that you cant share food, that would be an incredible waste. good luck and have fun!

Ab workout=pain at port site?
i remember when i first started doing ab work, my port did get sore several times, but since i kept it up, it subsided. every once in awhile, i'll still get a sore port, but it's usually when i over do it. if it is really bothersome, i suggest you contact your surgeon.

JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift
LMAO Julie ... The twins .. hope you have a happy meeting ... i am so proud of you. you know what an inspiration you are to me (and others) and you have gone through so much! i applaud you for all your effort and hard work and the pain you are going through right now seems to be a small (ha) sacrifice to pay for how incredibly hot(ter - you are already there!) you are going to be!

i, too, love my bugg... i ran out of the house this morning and **gasp** forgot to put her on. that's the first time that's happened in ages! i burn the most calories when i am running. my 'max burn' was just under 17 cals a minute, normal is between 15.7 & 16.5 step classes for me burn about 12-13, but i dont give it my all cause im a klutz and need to be careful. i agree with Tulip, intervals are the best at keeping the calories burning!

losingjusme goes for plastics
thanks for the support, guys. Julie - i really want the LP port, but i want to talk to the surgeon and make absolute sure he is comfortable placing it. he is a general surgeon as well as plastics, so it should be OK, but im a skeptic i guess... Karey - i owe you a PM, i know ... i am having the full blown TT with muscle repair. IF i can drop these 20 pounds, i will hopefully be within 15-20 pounds of my initial goal weight after the TT. i went with the Doc who i was most comfortable with ... both the doctor and the office staff. not sure how im going to drop these 20 pounds (18 now).... i may low carb for awhile, but who knows???

Tomecia, i think once a skin has stretched to the point most of ours has, it's pretty much a lost cause. especially if there are stretch marks involved. unfortunately...
