  3. Karey, have a great time in FL... at least you'll be busy and not counting the days ... errr... hours like someone ... not me though, nope ... :tt2:
  4. hi, a panniculectomy (panni) is basically removal of excess skin/fat from belly button on down. i do not believe it involves the 'skin stretching' like a tuck. it does not include any muscle tightening, more than likely no new belly button or anything above the belly button. not sure about cost. its not a great idea to get preg after a tuck due to the muscle tightening, when you get PG, you stretch your tummy muscles and, in 'normal' cases, basically nullifies the tuck. in my case, they are getting rid of lots of skin and fat, so i would not be doing any major damage (except possibly to muscles) if i were to get PG. not sure about insurance - maybe b/c panni is not considered cosmetic for some reason? best of luck to you!
  5. best of luck to you today nurseamy. mommi-hammi ... how are you doing?
  6. could, yes ... would is another matter ....
  7. there's a thread around here with the same topic, when i'm not at work, i'll search for it. to sum it up though - shouldnt be a problem.
  8. sorry you're having PB issues, when you PB, its best to go on liquids for at least 18-24 hours afterwards..
  9. hi Hemidrone, not really... you may feel a bit, but not much if anything. it may take a few fills to feel adequate restriction.. congrats on being banded!
  10. Wooo hooo! cant wait til im overweight... good for you!
  11. Hi, go to My Account (top toolbar), scroll down, look on the left side for Edit Profile Picture, either upload it or use a pic that's on a webpage. Is that the picture you're talking about?
  12. glad to hear the surgery went well!
  13. i gurgle all the time. mostly while drinking though. it doesnt necessarily mean you are too tight. if you were too tight, you wouldnt be able to eat or possibly even drink without PB'ing. just a fact of life that i've learned to deal with.
  14. moving thread to the lounge.
  15. you may just be too restricted in the mornings. when i was at my sweet spot (had to get unfilled due to upcoming surgery), i was liquids only until at least 10am.
  16. im already banded, but i just want to say congrats and it'll be here before you know it!!
  17. let me post a 'me too'. i usually go liquids only for a couple of days
  18. Stefanie, got it ... if i go, will more than likely need to bring DH and DD too... she loves to go "out to eat" ... pick her up from daycare... 'can we go out to eat... pwease?' ... she is SO my daughter!! :tongue2:
