  4. 2 weeks post band!

    I was banded 2 weeks ago and have lost 20.5 pounds including the 2 week pre liquid diet and all of a sudden i feel like i have NO restrictions. My surgen scheduled my first fill for 4 weeks from now, is this normal? Im so hungry, any suggestions would be appreciated! :thumbup:

    I was banded on march 30, tuesday. Everything went well, i have a lot of gas but other than that im relieved!! Not as bad as i thought! Down 16.2 pounds including my 2 week post op diet. Im excited to start my new journey....wish me luck!

    I feel like im going crazy! I change my mind about the surgery every 5 min. I am scheduled for march 30 and the closer it gets the more i start to freak out, Please leave me some positive experiences with your band so i can ease my mind!!:blushing:

    So 7 days from today, March 30 i will be banded! Started day 8 of liquid diet and i am down 9.3 pounds. I wish i could continue this on my own with out the band but i have done this way too many times and always do good on a diet at first! Im excited to start my journey, just running out of patience and getting tired of this liquid diet form hell! This time next week i will be banded...exciting and scarry:mad: Say a prayer for me please!

    So i made it through week one on liquid diet and hated every minute of it. Down 9.3 pounds so im happy about that. God give me strength to do this one more week before surgery. I went to a baby shower today, went through the buffet line, filled my plate, moved it around and pretended to eat so noone would know i was doing lap band,,,that was hard! :mad:

    Ok, im on day 5 of my liquid diet, people said it would get easier, it hasnt. My dr. has me on
     
    3 protien shakes
    3 sugar free jello
    1 cup chicken broth
    2 cup light yogurt
     
    Does this sound normal? Im hungry and struggling, i have not cheated yet but this is so hard...any advise?:mad: Thanks, Trish

    I am meeting with the dietitian tomorrow to get my liquid diet for the 2 week post op diet and them wednesday for ekg,blood work and chest exray. I think im done with all the pre stuff, they sure dont make it easy to get approved! Im to the point where i just want to get banded and start my new journey! MARCH 30 here i come:thumbup: Wish me luck!

    I finally got a surgery date March 30! Im so excited to start my new adventure and a little nervous. I have tried sooo many diets in the past that it is almost embarrising to list. I always did good the first month then down hill from there. I know this is not a fix all, but i hope its the tool i need to stick to it. I want to be healthy and keep up with my kids :thumbup: they have alot of energy! Im not telling many peolpe at first that im having this done, the only people i told are my husband, mom,siste,and a good friend. Im not ready for all the opinion..I start the liquid diet march 15, any suggestions?:smile:
