had my first fill 2 weeks ago. I don't know what I was expecting, but I feel like I am NOT losing weight. I am scheduled for a 2nd fill the 2nd week of May. I am frustrated and anxious.

WOW! 78 lbs in 6 months..you have encouraged me..I am glad to hear that you are doing so well .. It sounds like I need a few more fills.

I too am feeling discouraged..My surgery date was 2/23 and I have had one fill so far..I now of some people who have lost twice the amount of weight that I have.12 lbs.It is hard not to compare yourself to others..I do feel hungry in between meals..i have started exercising..that has helped with the "blues"...I know we will be successful..thanks for sharing story...let's do this together!

i just logged on for the first time. I felt the need for some support because I too don't feel like the band is working...I had my surgery 2/23 and only just had my first fill 2 weeks ago. I have really been feeling like a failure--from the sounds of it though maybe this is normal? I dont get another fill until the 2nd week of may..i can't wait..I too keep eating, however, I do get full faster..my weight loss is slow..I lost 12 lbs since my surgery. i know of others that have lost atleast twice that amount..any thought? suggestions?

I am new to this site..You look awesome! Your "before" looks just like me NOW! My surgery date is 2/23/10. I am very nervous so I keep reading success stories to keep me focused on the WHY I am doing this....... Reading your success story gives me inspiration!

CONGRATS to everyone that got their dates.....how exciting!!!! I am seeing my surgeon for the last time tomorrow..then I guess the next step is to wait for the insurance to ok it..then I will get my date....I can not THINK about anything else............YIKES!!!! scared but excited at the same time........
