  1. Well I keep stepping on the scale, and no change in weight. I'm breastfeeding my 3 month old full time. That doesn't seem to affect anything. I feel no restriction in the band at this point. I get my first fill in 2 weeks. I've started walking and doing the Wii fit thing. Haven't had a chance to get to the gym yet. I'm getting discouraged. Any suggestions?
  2. I was banded yesterday (12/8/09) and I'm pretty sore right now. I went to the Weight Loss Center in Beverly Hills. The process of getting my insurance to cover the surgery was fairly quick. I feel lucky because my aunt was banded 2 years ago and she had a heck of a time getting approved. I have a 2 month old baby that I'm still breastfeeding so I'm pumping and dumping until tomorrow to make sure the anesthesia is all out of my system. I didn't expect to be this uncomfortable, but I'm sure I'll be fine in the next couple days. Off to take another dose of the pain killer and antibiotic.
