  1. My surgery is tomorrow 9am and yes i just cheated with 12 pcs of salmon skin roll @ lunch time. I know i feel bad!!! I hope everything will turn out fine tom.
  2. Hi everyone. my surgery is tommorow 9am. im so excited! For some reason I just cheated by eating 12 pcs of salmon bake roll and I am full. I hope I can burn it before 8pm which is my last liguid intake. Best of luck everyone.:smile2:

  4. im only taking baby aspirin. surgen said levonex is to prevent blood clot during and after surgery.

  6. My surgery is 11-08-10. surgen told me to get 30 syringe lovenox - i paid $150 and this 1 tablet that cost - $68 dollars. does any one else have the same meds?
  7. FML...Tommorow should be my surgery but it got cancel coz of my pcp. He wants me to do a stress test rather than ekg. I dont know why he just thought of this only last friday. Im so pissed off the whole weekend!!!!!!!:puke:

  9. wow thats good to hear! I just have one more question regarding my medical condition. Im diabetic and taking glubride med. I hear you cant eat so i guess my sugar level will go down for the pre-op diet? Have any of you guys have the same problem?
  10. Finally I got the call today and they gave me a date. I just want to know if any of you guys went to see your surgeon 1 week before the surgery? coz they want me to come in on 10-6-10 for the pre-op seminar for a whole day. Then after that i need to see my primary doc to get sum xray and some ekg done. Is this part of the pre-op procedure? Anyways Im just excited finally the time has come.
  11. Hello All. I just have a question. Any of you diabetic and had a hard time doin the pre-op liquid diet for week? I was just thinking of getting hypogylcimia or high sugar. Any suggestion?

  15. Can anybody tell me what is ugi means again? my surgen told me to get UGI, Psyc Eval, Nutrionist and seminar. I have seen my primary doc last week and he approved everything. Just lost regarding UGI what is it and what do they do to you?

  20. one more thing. im diabetic and has anyone else tried doin the liquid diet without getting hypoglycemia. im not taking any diabetes pills coz im only on the biginning stage. Thank You
  21. Ok so i went to see the surgeon dr. korman from L.A. Bariatric and he gave me this list. First is im goin to see my primary doctor this thursday. I have a list of things i need for him to get me autorisation for a nutritionist, psyc eval, seminar and ugi or something. My question is how many times do i have to see this 3 specialist? so i can submit my result to my doc? I have blue cross of ca HMO. I called them and they say that they will cover my surgery.
