waiting.... you story is partly why i don't have a reduction. I know what i have to deal with now, but i'm afraid of the unknown when it comes too the boobs. My friend had her's done and a tt at the same time... two weeks ago she had to go back in because the left boob was not falling due to some scaring issues...

Suz... your doctor is right about the concern. I never being a smoker could never understand the addiction of that... but most of my family are smokers and my dad just had a stroke Thursday. I worry all the time. My husband is a smoker too. And so is my youngest... i see all the damage is causes.... But then you have someone like my grand ma that is 88 and started smoking at 18 and has never quit or tried too.... and tells me all the time to f**k off... (she really does). It's where i get it from.... lol she is healthy and still gets around... i go play bingo with her most every Saturday. any who... it is a fact that smoking hinders the healing process.... This is the way i look at it for you... You have worked hard to finally get a body that you feel good about... Why cut it short by smoking... Enjoy your new self and embrace it all... be good too you, cause no one else will.... Good luck

sounds to me like she is jealous of you. Most people when the behave that way are just projecting how that feel about them selves on to other people. Im with Jenni...... but then again im a talk to your face and not behind your back type of girl. I most always tell the truth.. even though some people don't want to hear it.... in my defense . i always say.... ARE YOU SURE you want the truth..? I would do one of two things..... 1) if you are the type that can speak your mind with out letting your self get "talked Over"... then ask her for lunch and tell her what is bothering you. 2) if you are not, then write her a letter and express your love for her, but tell her how her actions are making you feel. Any way that's what i would do...... and by the way.... 63lbs.. i a great job.. be proud of what you have accomplished.

i have a great friend named Beanie.... i love her... Anywho, my surg didn't take BMI into concid .... the pre op diet was to help him in the surg with my liver to become more pliable But i was able to eat soup and pudding too. 750-1000, such a small amount of cals. Good luck with everything....

Bringing..... go with your gut... if it tells you to check around... do so... if not, do what you feel. My thoughts... No one ever regrets a second opinion. Are you able to talk with other patients? Go to support groups? I would check in to those things...

I have a shop that i go to in Baton Rouge and i love it... they fit me and even alter them for me. But when i want to buy something ..... Girly... i go her to this place. Only thing is ... you have to read what you are buying. Soooo i have been getting lost of PM asking what my tummy tuck scar looks like. So i updated some pic. The pictures are only view-able to my friends here because i don't want to hear all the Nasty comments from people i don't care to hear from and i don't want unsolicited pervs sending me there "email" address.... lol I am sooo unbelievably happy with my plastic surg. work. He did a fabulous job. I really think that not smoking, eating better and lotion... lotion... lotion has helped. later peeps....

OMG girl.... you are the best... So at my last gyn visit, i talked to my dr about menopause (being 44). I had a partial hysterectomy years ago... I was not having hot flashes... but, This was my reason.... MOOD swings... OMG they have gotten sooo bad. Just ask a few people here... lol Anyway, so i told her and she said.. ok Chris we will do blood work and let you know. Three days later she call me (she has been a friend and gyn for 14years) she said...Chris all your blood work is perfect. I said...Then why do i feel like i want to punch people in the face all the time.... she said... Hell girl, maybe you need anger management.... at that point we both started laughing... So, i know that im no pre or post menopausal... Told my Hubby.... and he said.. OMG, does this mean you will get worse....lol and i think i read somewhere that drinking soy helps...

you guys are wonderful... i truly appreciate each and ever one.... My meaning is .. and cassy is right (hope i can call u Cassy) I have a cuz named Cassandra... love her.... anyway. I think to me.. its more of wanting people, like me... , to look deep inside and evaluate what they really are doing. and you all are right... i guess if one over eats anything it could be a bad thing.. my experiences with my son's GF's and friends that are "vegetarians" and "healthy" eaters are that they are all very aware of everything they eat. I have never met an over weight one... but that's just me. some people .... I think.... this is just me talking here.... and lying to them selves about what they truly are doing to their bodies that's .... Really making them fat. dose that make since...? sometimes i know what i want to say... but my words don't come out like i want them too.... lol

hey EV.... you have gotten some really great advice. I would deff.. got get other opinions. When i started to my research on the TT and breast reduction. I really wanted to have them done at the same time and my PS will do them... but i read and read and read and most every one said... don't do them at the same time because the TT is sooooo painful. So i didn't go with my gut and only had the TT done. I soooo regret that choice. Now this is just my experience ... but, my TT was what i would consider ... almost pain free. I compared it to the pain i had when i had my two boy via Section. If i had known that i would have done them both at the same time. My total for the tt.... this is everything... doctor, rn, operating room, hospital one night stay, compression garment, meds and a year of follow up.... $8800.00 It has been 16 months since my tt and i have to say, i had the best experience and over-the-top excited with my results. This year... i will be wearing a bikini to the beach for the first time in over 20 years.... i wish you all the luck....

omg... i know the feeling. after my first son... i stayed at 135 and was not fat by any means... but my ex use to call me fat and ugly and that i should be lucky too have him.... fast forward to now..... him... 5'5" and 320lbs..... bahhhhh bahhhhh

So is it just me or is anyone else wondering why her doctor can't tell her what is in her band? My doctor logs ever cc in. Your doctor should be able to look at your chart and add up all the in and deduct all the out (if any) and be able to tell you what you have in. Then pull out whats in the band and see if it matches what should be there. If it doesn't match... you may have a leak. I know after my fills i felt full for weeks. Than as i lost it got looser. But that was just my experience.. Good luck

Just so you all will know.... The devil had multiple homes... Not only does he live on my bathroom floor.... But he lives here also.... Stay away He make a hypnotic concoction.. of Red velvet, cake batter ice cream and chunks of cream cheese icing.... and he calls it Red velvet cake ice cream..... You all have been warned...lol i have to pass in front twice a day.... sometimes... I say... NO Devil... i don't want your amazing ice cream... but, my car... well she is not as strong willed as me... and she gives in... and before i know it... i'm parking and turning off the engine.. and saying... my car wants a quart to go please...
