Any regrets from band to sleeve revision
Pablo posted a topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
My story is pretty simple, had the band about 4-5 years ago, cost me a small fortune. Worked great for a couple of years and then loss all sense of restriction. I was either to tight or too loose. Drove me crazy. So now I have decided to go to ole Mexico for a revision. I am hoping its a great experience, though I expect pain pain pain, from what I read. Im also kinda wusey, so we will see. Anyway I am going to Mi hospital with Dr.Valenueza. Has anyone gone through and told that they wouldn't do the surgery? and also has anyone regretted getting the band out and going sleeve? I am also one of many that fear death. I have a young family and love them dearly, would hate to leave them early. Anyway, hope to hear form those who did a revision and can settle my nerves, or not, maybe you want to warn me to "stop the insanity" Thanks- 1 reply

I hope your surgery goes well. My date is July 14. I'm starting to get a little nervous about complications, etc. Where are you having yours done. I quoted the above

yeah from Canada, I am going to Tijuan because of the wait lists. Plus you look at the doctors here that do the surgery, maybe one every 3 days where in Mexico, they do 3-4 a day. These guys are experts at their craft. that's all they do I was told. I would rather bank on someon ethat does many rather than one that does a few.

Hi everyone, first off I have a money question for Fearnot. Can you pm me how much its going to cost you in Montana. I have mine scheduled in Mexico and it freaks me out a lil. Montana is really not far for me as I am from Canada and close to Montana. -

Mexico Revision?
Pablo replied to mschimpf100204's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I go on 14th of July to Dr. Valenzuela and I am nervous. Hopefully it will be better than band, too many ways to cheat the band and never got restriction again after year one. Though great tool for the first year. -

I recently went to the doctor and he told me I had elevated levels in my parathyroid. Anyone have issues with this and is this common with Lapland? thanks for any help.

Hey everyone. My main and major problem is I am stuck on eating sliders? lol. So I thought about doing a stay away from list of sliders. If you have any good slider foods to put on the list, please do. So here is a list I came up with: Ice cream chips juice, not a food but easily to eat dorritos ADD MORE
