Thanks for the Photo Comment, I got my hair cut shorter yesterday, feels so good. Hey I know about the scales, I have been playing with 3 lbs for about two weeks now, just waiting for the day I wake up and I am down 5 lbs. then I know it will be gone (the three lbs). I think we do jog 2-3 lbs as a normal thing staying in maintenance which I AM NOT ready for yet, I want my 18 lbs and the total 100 lbs. I have 4 months left, but I am heading to Alaska this weekend! For a 10 day cruise! Gonna have me some fun! Will post pics when I get back!

It is 8 months down for me, and you are only two weeks before my surgery, so I think you are 8 1/2 months out only too! You had your band on my birthday!!!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for starting the group Dogs Love Bandsters~Cute Idea! I love my babies too. Congratulations on your band! You will love it, the results are amazing. Life is different with the band but I adjusted well over time you will too and the time will pass and one day you will wake up a new person. Again Congrats!

Thanks so much for your post tonight, It really makes me feel good to know that there are those friends on here who REALLY Care about others, and it sure has been one rough month, but we are going to get through it with a lot of prayers going up. Having company over tomorrow for dinner, our familes from out of town and the service Sat. at 11 AM. We will miss these people dearly in our lives, and we continue on in Gods Service. Enjoyed reading your response to my post about the Brownie, and OMG it was a cake one too with walnuts, should have chunked it out the window, but I could not. I usually can not tolerate bread, but now problem with that baby! I did real good today, got back on track and going to stay there as long as I can~ I really want that 100 lbs gone! Even tho if I stopped right now, I would be happy with 82 in 8 months! But I am going to press on! Look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Thanks for the Encouraging words about the Brownie I snitched! It was a big one too! Like a cake! LOL I am over it, but dawg gonnit why do people tempt us like that? And where was my willpower? Out the Window, like the Brownie should have been~oh well and Scarlet O'Harah said, Tomorrow is another Day! I did well today, managed to eat healthy, got my protein shake in early this morning and felt full all through Church, then took my Mom to a Fast Food Rest and only ate a small piece of a sandwich, Fish like two bites and three small fries, that was good and that was Lunch, then I had a small dish of grits with cheese and a sausage pattie for dinner! Very Full and Satisfied all day, drank Crystal Lite! And of course the water! Busy day, did not dwell on foo, but on life! Thanks for the kind and encouraging response to my post!

Hi I know what you mean, my hair was starting to clog the drain in our shower! My husband was getting worried, I have only got 22 lbs to get to my goal, and I want that weight gone!!! But I do want to keep my hair, so up the Protein here I go, I have always had a head full of hair~and now it is getting dry and brittle, but I am going to take a half teaspoon of grapeseed oil, they say that is good for your skin, nails and hair, and a natural way to get the oil! I'll let you know if it works for me. Good luck, you are very pretty! Great job so far.

Yes PC is hot in the Summers and sometimes the sweltering Hot is too much when you are not use to it, I too love the AC on the hottest of days, right now the beach breeze blows away the heat, that is a great way to get a sunburn, cause you don't know you are getting the heat, loved it grew up here all my life, lived in Hawaii once, but would not trade these Panhandle Beaches for those in Hawaii, love the pure crystal white beaches we have here. Hey! I hope you decide to have the lapband, it is so wonderful, when the dr. Puts the band on, it is over the area of your stomach that sends the hormones to the brain to tell it you are hungry. I do not get hungry anymore unless i go all day and not eat anything. That happened about 4 months after the surgery, i forgot to eat!!!!then i heard this strange sound, omg i thought! That was my stomach growling, and it was 4:30 pm, so i went right away and ate something. You will always eat less with the band due to the restriction you get with it, but to lose a lot of weight and be really successful in the first year after the band, you do have to watch what you eat, but you will be able to do that because of the band, not that you won't slip up and make misteaks or bad choices, we all do that, just less now than before! Hi! I am eating about 4 to 6 oz of food each meal and in between I snack on a few wheat crackers and cheeses. I eat few veggies, raw and chew them good is more filling. My last fill a week ago is very good and tight! I want to drink more now and not eat as much, I am depressed over losing three friends in the past month! Just horrible and so unexpected for two of them. I think my cc's are at about 5.6 in an 11cc band so about half full! I don't think i will ask for one this month, it is still so tight I feel like I will choke sometimes. I am going to get back to the gym three times per week, so I can get this weight coming off faster too! Good luck just keep on keeping on!:smile:

:thumbup:How sweet of you! You had your surgery on my Birthday! How about that? I am so glad that we are doing so Good! I get depressed wanting to have it NOW, but you know what? We did not put it on fast so it will just have to go off slower! I have lost 80 lbs now, and have 23 to go to goal, it had almost stopped but has started again coming off after this last fill, very tight now again and that is good. I think when we have lost this much, our body refuses to drop thinking we will get sick or something, and we have lost a good percentage of the extra body weight too. Thanking God everyday for my band. When I get into a 12 really good and it is loose on my some, I think I will be satisfied! I haven't been in a 10 since High School, and don't want to get so small I look emaciated! Good Luck on these last pounds they are harder to get off! LOL Hey, I have nothing but time, till God calls me home! Happy Easter

Thanks so much! It is a labor of love and desire to be the person who I was before I got out of control! It is hard work even with the lapband! It is just a tool for sure, but I can do it now and we all can because the hunger in the stomach is not always there nagging us, the head hunger is though, I wish they had a head BAND! LOL

Hi got your post, Yes I am moving down now again although slower now, but still going down! It was a beautiful day here in the Panhandle of Florida! I have been so cold. I would love to be in the snow a little Ha! Now that I have lost all this weight tho, I just freeze. So glad that Plateau is over, I was getting very depressed! Hi! We are over in the Panhandle of Florida, just beautiful here all day, sunshine, no winds, beautiful. Got a little cooler this evening tho when the sun went down and a few showers, as I was pulling in my driveway tonight, I saw a beautiful Rainbow! What a great sign! The day was perfect! I am trying to settle into the fact that people are seeing me different, and I still feel the same somehow? It will hit me one day I hope!

Hey Allie! Thanks for that info! I squeezed on a size 12 today, they fit in the legs, but I can not zip them up all the way without laying down on the bed first and they look sick! In a bad way, LOL I know teens use the word "sick" to mean "wicked~or Good! " But really I looked melted and poured into them. So I know when I get to about 165 I will have some work done too so I can buy and wear clothes that fit, like you are doing. I wore clothes that were loose too many years!!!! How long did it take to heal and feel good after the surgeries?
