  1. Janet, Thank you for the God given words today! You have no idea how much I needed to read this. I don't always comment on your blog, however I read your blog on a regular basis! I'm going to share your blog with a friend of mine who also had lapband. May God continue to bless you! Love ya!
  2. Thank you Janet!
  3. Janet, I too am having a hard time getting the last 20 pounds off. I went to my doctor last week and he was very happy with my progress. He told me on average it take two to three years to get the full benefit of the band. You and I have almost reached our goal in one year. Hang in there I know we both will eventually get those last 20 pounds off. I have two friends who are taking HCG and have had good luck with it. I have decided not to take that route just yet?
  4. Happy Mothers Day to you too! :cursing:
  5. Janet, Yes this happens to me all the time. I get a lot of anxiety eating infront of others. This only makes the problem more uncomfortable. I have not told but a few I have had this surgery. I'm sure they are wondering why I eat like I do? When I eat at home I am more comfortable and most times food seems to go down better.
  6. I also have United Health Care. They approved me within three weeks. They have paid so well. I feel very blessed to have the insurance I do. I had a lot of health problems such as high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, high cholesterol, and foot problems. I was not what they called a 100lb overweight but with other health issues I didn't have a hard time getting approved for surgery.
