Lost 93 pounds in 2 years. Complications began - vomiting acid and bile all night, every night for months. Had all fluid removed March 2012.
Gained 30 pounds until surgery Aug 18, which was supposed to be a repositioning or replacement. Instead they took the Band out. It was a sad sad day... I gained 35 more pounds... But in the end I think was for the best.
Dec 4, 2012 I had VSG, at a starting weight of 271....
I am a mom to a 6 year old, step mom to 13 and 18 year olds. I also have Crohn's disease which is a whole other story, but would love to meet other VSGs with Crohn's.
