Hey! Sorry I just got around to friending you, I haven't been on here in a while. I saw somewhere that you're going through the Bariatric Center of KC--is that correct? I had my surgery through them on June 26th and have been really happy with them (although there were a few minor bumps in the road). Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them!

thanks :] at the moment i cant eat anything and i really dont think that it would be comfortable to at this point, im on all clear liquids. on thursday i get to drink protien drinks again which are kinda yucky but its better than nothing but vitamins and broth. it took so long i guess cause i have an extremely like anal doctor and every test it was possible to have he had done to make sure everythign would go perfect i guess. but thats a good thing right?

Well I'm glad your doing okay :]. Can you eat much? I'm hoping to have during break but who knows lol. If the insurance was fast...what took so long?

its not to bad. i mean my stomach hurts but i have pain meds and that should go away i think the worst was the air stuff they put in you so they have more room to work. i can, like, feel it i guess beneath my ribs and that kinda hurts, but i think everything has gone pretty good so far :] i fortunately have reallllly good insurance cause my parents work for the federal medical so it went through no problem. i feel like it took forever to actually get my band but from waht people have said mine went through really quick i startted the process in august.

Oh! Hows it been? What insurance did you have? No...It's going through insurance. The doctors are keeping their sweet time. Lol.

Im pretty good, really sore though. i had my surgery on thursday. is yours schedualed?

Hey Amber! sorry it took so long to reply! So far I have actually had some great support from friends/family, the only one who I am on the fence when it comes to staying my friend would sadly be my best friend. She hasn't been sincerely happy for me it's all been very fake and forced, and she is quite a jelouse person so this is kind of my final test of friendship. If your friends can't handle the fact that your physical appearance will now match your awesomeness then they are not worth keeping around. And although at the moment it's hard to think about losing friends you have had for a long time, as you lose weight new doors will start opening and you'll start meeting more people and the unsupportive ones won't really matter as much

for now, yes (: but if i get severe nausea again thats when im gonna call my dr to get it out, but i feel pretty confident that it wont get as bad and ill be on my way once and for all
