browneye- see if you ca nfind a doc in usa since I have heard many people who have experience diffculties in getting fills from a usa doc after getting banded in mexico. mine only cost me 9900.00 (majority financed) here in houston, TX- Dr. Christopher Reilly -please just check around before going all the way to mexico for this procedure..

Hi browneye. So sorry I havent gotten in contact with you sooner. Havent been in here in a while. I hope everything is going well with you. I know you are probably excited about your surgery and you should be. I had mine in December 2007 and dont regret it for one second. I love my band. I cant say that I have always been committed to the band and have had some setbacks but I can honestly say that if I had it to do all over again, I would with no hesitation. If there is anything I can do to help you along the way, please feel free to ask.

Hi, dear, I as well as you was non-insured and have to pay out of packet, I went to Dominican Republic, and got my lap band with a great surgeon, whom is not only professional but also very sweet and with whom even when I already came back from Dom. Rep. (got banded on 08/11/2009, I am constantly in contact via email and phone. I already find a doctor in US and in my state to follow up with fills. I as you do had lots os concerns and questions, but my doctor have exceed my expectations and I have already seen the pounds dropping. Lets keep in touch for support and tips. Be good. hey ya'll im still awaiting for surgery, i amm self pay so you know of course i had to set my surgery date back due to funds, im single and i got bills,and its hard trying to save for my surgery and pay bills, good thing is i am $2500 down and i will be off to having my surgery, hopefully by october or ennd of september i should be having my surgery, keepp me in your prayers and i will update soon..
