    Thanks Sandradee....I found that really helpful as I am in England and had to have the surgery privately. Having done that, I haven't had any instructions like the rules of the band or anything. They never even weighed me. so if there are any other tips out there or if anyones could tell me the rules of the band, I would really appreciate it. Had my surgery on the 11th of Aug and am still on liquids at the moment and starting on pureed foods on Wed. Thanks Sandra, Sandi xxx

    Marw...how long ago were you banded...i was banded on the 11th and am down including presurgery diet about 14 lbs. Not too bad as it hasn't been that long but want to fast forward to the end result!! lol I'm like you...I really want to trust it and they keep saying that it's forever but I don't know...lol Anyways, take care of yourself and keep up the good work!! Right behind ya!

  9. Thanks for that Janet....went to go see the anthestist (not sure if I spelled that right or not...lol) today for my surgery on the 11th. I am filled with all the same feelings you that you were when you had your surgery. Thanks to you jotting down those feelings I am feeling more sure that it is the right thing to do (even though I already knew this in my head)...thanks for that and stay strong!! Sandi xxx

  15. Thank you for your blog Tori...I am going to the surgeon on Tues for my first initial visit. I haven't heard any of this before so you gave me a really good insight as to what to expect. I think if you hadn't of told me that, I probably would've given up by day 4 so thanks for that....keep the blogs coming it helps that you are just that much ahead of me and I can see what you will be going through...thanks, Sandi xxx

    Are you in the first 2 weeks stage? If so can you have all those types of things in your soup or does it have to be clear broth soup? Haven't had the surgery yet but looking forward to it.
