  1. Thanks so much Magnolia! I have sent a friend request to ya in that we are similar in banding dates and age. I love your mushy ideas. Mine were a bit vague but I am definitely gonna try your ideas. Thanks a million!
  2. Restless you are indeed a motivation to me. I am five days post- op and every question that has come to mind you have posted a response to it somewhere. I too am a "scooter hater" and am looking forward to being able to move without pain and for longer times.
  3. THE PLOT:I had my surgery on the 28th. I am a big girl with a BMI of 63. I am just moving into eating some mushy stuff. Here is where I need help. I am feeling hungry and then I feel like I should eat and my hubbie (who is a "not following the rules" band holder) says I can't have this or that . Then I get to feeling like maybe I can't do this. Maybe I am destined to be a big eater forever. Bt my weight truly interferes with my career path and ability to get around. Just need a word from someone. :frown::frown::frown::frown::sad::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown::crying::frown:
  4. Mine was the 28th as well. Mostly my pain is near the port. It feels like I am stretchong or pulling it everytime I move. Gettin up and down (from the bed, toilet, couch ) sem to be the worst. I also am still using the gas-x strips. I am not sure why but I still am having a bit of gas that seems to aggravate a bit. You're in my prayers.
  5. Me too! I got to leave at 3 my time to get to the hospital on time. I am so nervous i can't sleep! Best wishes and you will be in my prayers.
  6. Surgery on the 28th as well. Best of luck
  7. My surgery is tomorrow, and I am a nervous wreck :crying:. I have never had any surgeries other than 2 c- sections. Some how this is different. I guess cause this is really about myself. You guys are in my prayers, and remember me in yours.
  8. Thanks for the vote of confidence. It has been extremely tough because I am a carb-oholic. No pasta, no bread has caused me to have to pray harder and my family to duck and cover faster:lol:!
  9. Hello Everyone. I am so excited! My surgery is tomorrow! I am a bit nervous about the "liver" thing. I have really did good sticking to the all liquid diet. I have had absolutley no carbs and only a nibble of meat twice:frown:. I am so looking forward to starting my life over. Good luck to all. You are in my prayers, and I ask that I am in yours.
