Jenny, WW, vows, promises, trainers; etc - didn't work. I'm doing the surgery now because I don't want to be one of those people featured on Discovery Channel; bedridden; unable to move. Right now I've got reasonably good health - no diabetes, high blood pressure; now's the time to take action. Helps that two of my friends (males) have had the lapband procedure (Dec 2008) and have had very good success. A real motivation. My very supportive wife and great kids are cheering me on!
