    Well, I buckled down and got the Mirena... these cramps are absolutely horrid, but supposedly won't last more than a couple days. In the mean time, I have to sit back and cross my fingers that the weight gain and skin issues many people report don't happen to me... :( Sometimes I really, really hate having PCOS.

    Weight loss has been very slow since my one year sleeviversary. I got hurt at work and have been unable to exercise. It's very frustrating but at least I have not gained.

    Yesterday I ate the amount of calories that my nutritionist keeps telling me I should be eating... and I gained a pound overnight. :/ Is it possible I just have lower calorie needs than what they think I should be eating?

      I often think that type of overnight gain (I have them too) is due to extra water weight if the foods involve more salt and then the extra residue in the digestive system from more food. It disappears in a day or two. Long term yes I believe many of us need less calories than others. My girlfriend and I weight about the same have about the same activity level, do most of our exercise together but she eats about twice what I do. Seems unfair as I see her eat every day but that's life. So has your pound disappeared yet?

    Now that I have started some treatment on my Lymphedema, my weight has been really dropping again.

    Today I have lost 53% of the weight that the docter would like me to lose....omg half way there!! I am no longer morbidly obese and the doctor says I have added years to my life expectency. My goals are finally looking achievable... I can do this!

    I purchased another pair of new jeans today! I have lost 30lbs in the past 6 weeks and the last pair are all baggy in the legs, gaped at the waist and baggy in the butt.

    6 lbs down and 3 days til surgery.....I thought Id lose more than this...But, im not giving up. But I do dred the bowl prep.

      Some lose more than others. My friend didn't lose anything on the pre-op diet and I only lost 5 lbs over 2 1/2 weeks. But you are in this for the long haul and it will work and the loss will happen. Hope your bowel prep is not too rough. More than anything I stopped by to wish you all good luck. Let us know how it goes!
