I live out by 40/42 work in Raleigh..I am 43 been banded since Oct 09 lost right at 80lbs have had my ups and downs ukkkkk would be nice to have a person to compare things with..... Lets chat

  3. Hello Thanks for reading.... I was banded in Oct 58 pds less as of today........WoooHooooo Before the surgery I suffered heartburn all the time, roliads were my best freind....After the surgery...NO heartburn til about a week ago, my fills have gotten to a point where i can tell i have been filled, comforable finally....Weight loss is slow but hey I am losing, good enough for me....OK so the heartburn is really really serve, to the point of wanting to throw up and i am eating lots of roliads, any type of food does this and it seems to be getting worse:sad:....Anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any help.......:smile2:

  5. OK so it has been three weeks exacty since I was banded, I was only on a two day post op liquid diet... I have lost 25 pds , my concern is this last week I havent lost anything, in fact gained a pd...:sad: I am eating mashed food and some light things, can tolerate anything and am straving and when I eat, I make myself quit because I dont want to strech or damage anything... I feel like I havent even been banded...I am eating very good, exactly what I am surposed to be eating... Its just so hard, I am so hungry and cant get full. Is this normal til I get a fill? I am thinking they forgot to put the band in...lol:unsure:
  6. Thanks My largest incision is near my belly button left side It's just the one side of the scar nearest the belly button that Is lumpy
  7. Ok so my largest incision was really sore today when I checked it, one end is really hard and I can feel a good sized lump underneath the skin, it wasn't there a few days ago. What is it? I am eleven days banded, looks good otherwise. Thanks!!! P.S. Anyone in Raleigh need a new friend.
  8. Thanks for all the wonderful replys and mail I have received!!! GUESS WHAT I went for my week checkup today and have lost 17lbs!!! I didnt think I had lost any, it has been a horrible week, I am straving. I just hope the weight keeps coming off!!!
  9. Hi I have a few questions; I have been banded for 6 days….. Why do some people say things get stuck? Is it because you don’t chew good enough? Do you know if the food gets struck? How do you get it unstuck? How do things get stuck? Why can’t some people not eat nuts, seeds and noodles? What about breads and peanut butter? Really curious, thanks for your help!!!

  11. Hello All I was banded Thursday !! Finally(insurance denied first try) OK so physically I am fine, but oh man my stomach growls all the time and I am so hungry I feel like I may hurl!!! I have had it with jello and broth any suggestions, please help!!!!:thumbup:
