Hey, sorry to bother you boys, but I was curious about who did your surgery, CajunBobby! I had mine in Lafayette. Dr. Cunningham.

I tried to avoid exercising today by going shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding in a few weeks. When I didn't fit into the size I wanted, I hauled my arse home and got my workout on. :biggrin0:

So here's a question...did your hair come back after you lost it??? Congrats on the surgery!

Thank you, thank you! I'm finally able to see it when I look in the mirror now. The hubs was so cute yesterday...I put up those pics on Facebook and he kept going back and forth looking at them. Then he came and took a new pic with his iPhone so when I called he'd see the new "thinner" me. He will walk by and say, "Hey skinny" and stuff. I just laugh because I am still SO FAT! HAH! I haven't tried on any new clothes, but my size 26 pants are ridiculously big on me. No money for new clothes though! I will just have to tie a rope around my waist!!!

No, someone was asking me just the other day if my lashes were fake! My sister and I just got blessed with long lashes, but without that XXL mascara, they are hard to see. Not sure where they came from, but I'm not complaining!!! Thanks for your kind words

I bought a bullet at the grocery store called Super whey and it's fruit punch, but I guess it's not the same as the ones you guys are talking about. I haven't tried it yet. I stopped by GNC again even though I hate the woman who works there and got the Orange Isopure drink. I tried the punch and the apple, but I'm going to mix this one with my morning orange juice and benefiber to see if I can handle it. I just know I'm going to lose my hair soon.

Can you drink them cold or is there a rule against it? Sorry if that sounds dumb, but I am really not getting in my protein and I can't do the shakes.

I will have to try these as I am not getting anywhere near my 80-100 grams a day. I MIGHT get 30-40 a day, and I'm 8 weeks out. Shame on me, but I can't get in my Water if I have to drink Protein shakes too. I can't get all my protein from food either. This is damn near impossible. And I'm one of those that if the smell hits me, I start to gag. Isopure doesn't work for me, though I so wish it did.

I don't. I tried it and it didn't work out so well, so now I'm on Yasmin. I have two appointments set. One with my new Dr and one with my old. I just plan to refill my new pack a few days before my appt with Dr. Moron and then cancel day of.

Oh man, it's sooooo much fun! I didn't want to go for the longest time, but a friend of mine kept begging me. I went with her once and was hooked! And I wasn't the biggest gal there either. Good times. I miss it.

I took a class called Latin fusion when I lived in TX and loooooooved it. There was a class offered every day and I went at least 4 times a week. This was before my surgery, though. Now I live in Louisiana and there isn't much to choose from here as far as group fitness goes.

Well, I looked up classes on the zumba website, and the closest one to me is 44 miles away...in a REALLY SMALL town. I live in a bigger town and am really surprised to find that Zumba hasn't made its way here. I tried to look at the YMCA yesterday but didn't get too far into my investigation once I looked on the Zumba website.

I broke down and ordered it. I cannot afford to join a gym, but I've been e-mailing local fitness clubs and asking them to start Zumba or Latin fusion classes because that is something I'd totally find some money to pay for. I'm going to buy the Zumba dvds with my next Pampered Chef commission, but I'm just so tired of my Walk Away the Pounds and my cheap elliptical machine. Anyone know how to convince local gyms to start a new class???

I have an issue. I moved to Louisiana last year and the only ob/gyn I could get in to see so I wouldn't run out of my BC pills was a complete MORON and I hated him. So I want to switch Doctors, right? But my BC prescription runs out in 3 weeks, and my current Dr's office refilled the prescription to last me until my next appointment, which is Oct. 29. I can't get an appt before then or my insurance won't pay for it. They told me they would ONLY refill my prescription if I kept my appointment. So that makes it seem impossible to switch Doctors!!! Should I just cancel the appointment the day before and get an appointment with a new Dr? I have never had this happen before! And I NEEEEEEEED those pills, y'all. :biggrin0: Amanda

I had a surprise hiatal hernia repair during my surgery and have not had ANY problems. Go for the sleeve. So worth it.

I think I read somewhere that someone took the WW points system to their PCP and recalculated it to work with the sleeve. Because if I were doing WW right now, I'd need like 32 points or something, and there is no way I could get it. I don't know how they figured it out, but it would be interesting to see if it works. I also had the most success on the WW program before VSG
