Getting Ready for Spring Bootcamp
I'm still here! Work has been busy and I haven't been home to do anything but sleep lately. Between meetings and other appointments, I'm about to go nuts. The big downside to this is no time to exercise in the evenings so I get up at 4:00 a.m. to do it! I would have never done that a year ago! Get out of bed to exercise at 4:00 in the morning, what are you smoking?!? Yesterday's Info: B: Rice Krispies with Skim Milk S: Protein Shake L: Lean Cuisine S: Sugar Free Pudding D: Meatloaf and mixed vegetables Over 80 oz. of water and got some walking in. Today: B: Rice Krispies with Skim Milk S: Protein Shake L: To be determined S: Hopefully nothing D: To be determined 40 oz. of water down the hatch! So far this week, I am down 3 lbs. but those are the pesky pounds that creeped up when my TOM came the end of last week. I am hoping to lose 2 more by the end of the week. Gotta get my butt more in gear. Thursday evening I will be home so I am going to dance and provide my hubby with 40 mins. of pure comic entertainment!! :pound:

new guy in missouri
Hey Spark! Welcome to LBT! I am from Northeast Missouri and was banded in November. Lapband has opened possiblities to me that I never thought would be possible. There are a bunch of wonderful people here and a ton of knowledge. If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask. BTW, Are you working with a surgeon already or just researching on your own?

Funniest commercial
My favorite commercial is one from that cell phone company that has the slogan "Can you hear me now?" (I can't remember the name of the company.) Anyway, it's the one where he's at the zoo and he walks by the monkey cage and says his line and they show a monkey with a banana to his ear and making noise as if to say "Can you hear me now? Good!" It cracks me up! :pound:

Any Younger Bansters Here?
Hey Marissa! I am 26 and was banded in November. There are several people here in their 20's. Like many have mentioned, I wish I would have been banded years ago as well. It sure would have made my 20's better! One nice thing is we have a slightly better chance of not having sagging skin! At least that's what my physical therapist tells me.....so far it's true. Hope it continues!

20 things
#10 is definitely true! :heh: #13 OMG!! :omg: That is awful! I used to be able to eat one of those with fries and a soda, now it's more calories then I eat in an entire day!! If only everyone knew about lapband and was able to get it......:cry

In case you are interested, Mary Kay has a Creme to Power foundation. It has a light, powdery finish and is applied with a cosmetic sponge. Personally, I love it! You may want to check it out.

November Bandsters!
This sounds exactly like my recent experience. If this continues and nothing works, call your doctor. It may be that you are still getting used to the fill but it could also mean that you are too full. Don't let it go on too long if you continue to have a problem.

I have never tried it but probably because I sell Mary Kay. I love Mary Kay products and will never try anything else.

Getting Ready for Spring Bootcamp
Happy Saturday to everyone! Did really well yesterday: Got in over 64 oz. of water! :clap2: Doc said it's because I was probably dehydrated from being too tight and not being able to get much in. Did my walking and some house work. Today I will get moving more. I plan to not only do some house work but also to dance and walk. I will get in my Water and small, healthy meals.
