  1. lmao at mouth orgasm. Thanks for telling me the banana pudding story!!
  2. Are you calling me an IDIOT?? Because I guarantee that not one of us got to this board and became fat because we never cheated on a diet, INCLUDING YOU!! So please don't call me an idiot because I made a mistake. It was something I learned from and I won't be doing it again. That is how life works, it is ok to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. So if you have an issue with something I have done you are more than welcome to drive down to Texas and let me know about it!!
  3. I did talk to my bariatric nurse yesterday and she laughed at me. She said everyone does it and anyone who says they didnt try is lying. She said as long as I was not having any pain I should be just fine. She did put me back on clears for the rest of the day then back to soft foods today. She also made sure to tell me that my being a nurse I should have known better LOL. I have a great bariatric team and I am thankful for them. Thanks for the replies.
  4. Today at work I ate half a grilled cheese sandwhich and some tom soup. It made me miserable and I had to vomit. Now I am worried about vomitting, could one time hurt the band or does it take more provuse vomitting to cause slippage? I am14days post op, I know I should not have ate that but I did and Iam paying for it now. Will I ever get this down and get over eating ^comfort^ foods. I know it is a lifestyle change and I walk anywhere from 2-3 miles a day and I had been sticking to my diet but failed big time day!!!
  5. Good afternoon all!! I was also banded on the 11th!! I was there at 5 AM and I was home at 7 PM. The worst part for me is the gas in my stomach. When it rumbles it hurts so bad. I called the nurse thinking it was actually my stomach growling but it was just gas LOL. She has me taking gas X thin strips and still sipping water every 15 minutes. I am still using the liquid lortab as long as I can LOL. Otherwise I feel great, I am walking the block 2-3 times a day and even went on a second interview today!! Hope everyone is doing great!!
  6. Thank you all for posting. I am on post op day one and no where even close to eating anything yet but I was also under the impression I could not have salads and I am a salad person. Thanks for all the posts and advice.
  7. Good morning to everyone!! I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I was banded yesterday May 11th. It went great and I feel really good. I just went for a walk around the block and I am drinking my jigger every 15 minutes. Can't wait to really get all this gas off and be more proactive!! How is everyone else doing? Hope all is well!!
