  1. doesn't make it right...I'm in no way condoning it, and it's not in me to do it.....but I SWEAR, a wonton spoke to me tonight when I had a little broth. It opened it's salty little doughy lips and called to me! And, no...I've been off the percs for a day. I admit to chuckling when someone mentioned licking garlic bread last week....well I'd liked to have licked the inside of that wonton. Ah well....next month I'll actually be able to eat a bit of that inside meat if I must. What food spoke to you towards the end of your clear or full liquid stage? I dont mean did you cheat either....no offense but I dont care to hear those stories!
  2. Tell your husband SOMETHING! What if he turns around and tells your husband some faiy tale about you going after him??!! You will have to admit at that point that you have been hiding stuff....won't go over well!
  3. You are gonna do great!! Will be thinking of you all day!!
  4. Me too Cindy! I feel good one moment and rotten the next.
  5. I am interested especially since it's private! I am in bed now though as I am being banded at 7am tomorrow morning. I'll look you up tomorrow afternoon depending on how I feel.
  6. Toasting you with my chicken broth!
  7. Me too....anxious to get on with it has replaced panic at this point. Definitely hungry though...the family dog is looking tasty right about now.
  8. bthom21, Sherri, Erika......How are we doing ladies?
  9. So it's myself, Cindy, Kim, Sarah, and one other.......crap, I just sent her a PM and her name escaped me already....DAMN LIQUID DIET!!
  10. Someone told me to use the Prep H wipes. Maybe Tucks pads as well. Maybe coat that area with a little "baby butt cream" as protection?
  11. okay I cheated....I already at my lunchtime jello.
  12. Okay...so what are we "eating" today? I'm thinking....ummm......water for breakfast, more water for mid morning snack....a big bowl of lemon jello for lunch and not to be TOO much of a pig...perhaps a lemon italian ice! Yes I'm naughty.....and then a nice chicken broth with a side of....water, for dinner!! Maybe an after dinner drink of, what else, water to toast the day tomorrow.
  13. If you get a chance, check out the nutrition and food sub-forum. There are some great shake recipes and they have threads that are pages long with suggestions for each stage! oh and the walking sounds perfect.
  14. I was nervous the last few days as well, but today...the day BEFORE surgery...I'm okay strangely.....for now. We're all here for you. Going through it together!
  15. For those who arent squemish you can watch on you tube......kinda like....Lap Band porn.
  16. They should have kept their KFC eating, extra crispy asses down at the KFC!
  17. What time were you due into the hospital and what time were you leaving? Also, does that include a barium swallow before leaving? I am due in at 6am for a 7am surgery. My barium swallow will be done a few days later at my local radiologist.
  18. I had a problem once where they, unbeknownst to them, didnt knock me all the way out and I could hear them talking and cutting me open. I was basically paralyzed and screaming inside my own head.....but yea, other than that I've been all good!
  19. oh....well......La-Di-Da. In all seriousness, I wish you the BEST of luck. What an amazing accomplishment. I get sympathy exhaustion just watching documentaries on that climb!
  20. Well, flying apparently, can affect the band and planes are pressurized so I can only imagine that someone attempting Everest had best be unfilled. Wouldn't you think?
  21. Are you concerned with the physicality of the climb or what the altitude will do to the pressure in your band?
  22. I dont have a pre op diet requirement and all I allow myself is water to drink at this point! LOL!
  23. I have a headache too...stress I think.
  24. Well then.......drinks for everyone!!!! Would a little alcohol in a chocolate protein shake pass for a mudslide? More importantly, would that be okay on my full liquid week??!
