  1. HI Brad. I live in Jackson but went to Hurley in Flint. Nice to see you here! How did surgery go for you there?
  2. Slim--is it really your job to take care of him forever??? NO! Poodles--I am right there with you. I deal with anger as well, I hate it. PM me and we can talk or face book me if you have it. Carrie--damn good question. But I also think women who don't want to be helped had something to do with it. Susan--thank you, we all appreciate your support! Hugs to all!
  3. SUSAN It was -26 here last night and you are complaining about 30?? If I didn't love you I so would be kicking your ass right now!
  4. I agree SMS AWSOME girl, look at that waist! Tap--I agree you know what is best for you! I want one of those too Lu, send it here I have 18 inches of snow, it will stay cold!
  5. Been there, done that...ugh... He was supposed to go, went and came back. Begging me to just wait until the holidays. SO I am. But I stay away from him. He has been telling me he loves me following me everywhere, it is just too late. I have a big check coming from work in Feb. that is how I plan on getting a place. It does kill me. I am just not happy, plain and simple.
  6. Nope, because that is my job! tee hee... Noooo... 18 inches of snow not my idea of fun! That is no fun, egg it on!
  7. Thanks guys, I am just hoping to get through the holidays with the asshole. He is so manipualtive and I am so sick of hearing he loves me, it is just too damn late!
  8. Ya, that was until he made my kids cry... :huh2: BUT I will pick it back up....thanks for the reminder!
  9. PJTP-- I am so sick of this all.....wtf....ugh...
  10. Well if any I had any doubt, he cleared it up for me today. He didn't put up the tree with the girls and I, he let us do it alone while my kids cried. Jerk....
  11. I think loosing weight makes you more confident and definately happier. I am glad you are happier and making your life what you deserve. Good for you! And let that skank have him.
  12. Noahs Mom I can tell you I have been there where you are, too tight and miserable. But by staying too tight you are risking your band entirely. If you are too tight you can risk a slip. You can get a small amount out of your band and it will help you. How big is your band and what is your current fill?
  13. Not the ones worth anything!
  14. Bubsue this thread was 2 years old, so I can tell you from personal experience it DOES go away! Good luck to you!
  15. Thanks guys for all of your support. I can say this is the hardest thing I have ever done....

  17. Angie-- I think you know what you want in your heart. I would have a really hard time watching him date while I have his last name. Carrie--I agree I don't want to be a failure, however I don't want to be unhappy forever as well. This isn't easy to say the least!
  18. I agree that I am sure even if you asked the Dr they will not know how many stitches you will have. I would focus on the end of the process not the middle! I had plastic staples that disoloved. I have pics up on my thread you can look at. I didn't get the anchor but I did get the breasts done as well...
  19. The Lap Band has given me my life back, only better than ever. I no longer am hungry all the time. I no longer crave crap that I don't need. I no longer have to struggle to get into clothes, I no longer have to be ashamed. I am almost 3 years out now and never have regretted a moment of it. I only regret I didn't do it sooner. I no longer have to yo-yo diet! It has given me a peace of mind that nothing else ever has!
  20. LJM--congrats to DH ! Yay! Tap--I agree however why assume someone is dying instead of asking. I have a low profile port and I guess I am a lucky one....mine STILL sticks out and bugs me. It is what is it I guess....oh well...
  21. lol...I actually had that happen 2 weeks ago. I had a professor come up to me and ask how I was doing...he said the entire Sociology department was worried about me.....that the news was a I was sick and not doing well...... I smiled and laughed. I told him I was fine... But here is the kicker, I go to Michigan State University and there are no less than 30 in that department, all who know me, some very well. WHY couldn't any of them ask me instead of assuming that I am dying?? I agree that it is a bit strange that people just don't ask...lol....
  22. I am on year 15 and done. It still hurts like hell even though I am leaving him. Why?
  23. That what I thought too..lol...now I just think it is WAY too much money for WAY too little!
  24. Hey ladies I am having a rough go of things, and I know I am more than likely not alone. So I thought I would start a thread for those of us with marriage problems to chat or b*tch or whatever we need... What is your story?
  25. Mac, let's be honest they are probly all unhappy and don't want to point out how great you look! They want you to be unhappy too, don't give it to them! HUGS Thanks everyone, I know you are ALL right, I will get through this!
