  1. NO no, not guilty but human. We all are and we are grown up enough to admit it! :hurray: No negatives, we know our faults, we are over it and we are moving forward! We are picking ourselves up NOW!
  2. First did I always have confidence--hell NO! I was a big big girl who was scared to death. I constantly made fun of myself before anyone else could I thought. I was a joke. I had no confidence but no one knew it. I wasn't always fat, when I was young I was a model, so getting back into it was a dream. It is easy to be down on yourself, and beat yourself up. But I can tell you it will NOT help. I believe highly in the law of attraction now. What you think about will become. SO do me a favor make a list of things that you will do when you are healthy, not why you hate yourself now but how things will be different. Focus on positive things. You did this for a reason, whatever that is, you need to get back to it and frame it in positive light. I am willing to help anyway I can. I can tell you that my experience may look great, but it wasn't. It was a rough road but well worth it. I found the best success when I got down to the heart of the matter--why I did this and what I needed to do to get to where I wanted to be. Then I said "I am going to loose 3 pounds this week." I didn't talk about what I wasn't going to do, I focused on the what I will do! That was the first step for me. You can do this, if I can, anyone can. Have you ever seen my before??
  3. WTH is going on with people these?
  4. Welcome 1 day! :hurray: It is ok this is a judgement free zone!
  5. It is really a 5 day diet to get back on track. Follow down in these posts, it is a hyperlink.

  8. No problem, we are in this together! I am on bedrest for awhile so I am going to be missing a piece of that puzzle--exercise! But I will still be ok! 13. This kind of know it all shit is the reason I left for awhile.... I HATE people sometimes.... http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f178/starting-holiday-detox-early-anyone-wanna-join-me-84070/#post1099036
  14. I don't have the restriction I once did, but a lot of holiday foods are slider foods for me. They go down way too easily. I am just trying to get back on track. AND thanks for being so supportive and assuming that I went wild. I didn't for the record. Sometimes you need help to get back on track. NOT everyone is perfect.
  15. Feel free to pm and we can talk personally. I can tell you how I feel now is a different life.
  16. This is the link... Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test I am gonna do 2 days of liquids. I got through almost 1 day...lol... We can do this together. We will get you to 198 in NO time!
  17. Ok, so here is the lowdown on my back. Nothing is broken. But my back is now straight...I guess we are supposed to have a natural curve and I don't because I have strained most of the major muscles in my back. SO Dr put me on 2 muscle relaxers to take at once--it is THAT bad and a pain pill. Monday I will have to start physical therapy! UGH! I had a pain in my ass taking all of my piercings out, even had to take the brand new belly button out. The freaking xray tech complained and told me I shouldn't have so many...wtf...I have 3 plus earrings! WHY is it his business anyways??
  18. Thanks Kellie. I appreciate your honesty. I have thought about regretting it alot. But unfortunately he is not a good hubby, a good father not a good hubby. I know he wants to change but he doesn't try and that is just not good enough for me. We barely made it through the holidays but it is clear to everyone we are done, even families. I am happier without him, happier when I don't have to think of him and happier when he leaves me alone. That can not be a good sign...
  19. Hello all I am starting my holiday detox early. I fell off the bandwagon and gained.....gasp 7 pounds! SH*T.....so instead of waiting for the holidays to officially be over and add to the total I have decided to start a detox program for myself early.... I am going on a few days of liquids only, followed by the 5 day pouch diet. I figure it it an easy way to get back on track. Anyone want to join me and NOT wait until 2009 to get those holiday pounds off?
  20. Wow. A lot of questions, some seem so simple, but so off base. It is easy to assume that we are overweight because we don't et right or exercise, but that is not the case for all. I had 5 years of intensive IVF that wrecked my body and metabolism followed by 2 pregnancies in two years. So first of all my question is why do you (or I) have to rationalize to anyone else but myself? I don't. I am the only one that matters. I don't care what anyone else thinks or believes. They are not me and do not live my life. The risk of not loosing the weight is far greater than surgery by any means. I had tried to diet for years and nothing worked. My breaking point was when I went to the movies with my kids and could not sit in the seat. I then realized I would not make it to see them marry if I didn't loose weight. I was banded in August of 2006 and I can say it changed my life. I now can do all the things I wanted with my kids and they no longer have to make excuses for me. They no longer will utter the words "mommy can't she's too big". That was worth any risk ever! Good luck to you!
  21. Welcome and congratulations!
  22. Ok ya'all I am not a December bandster, I am an oldster... August 2006 and I fell off the wagon too. But the good thing is we can all recover! There is only failure if you accept it! I ate too much fudge, my damn brother made it. I am so glad he got the cooking gene and NOT me.
  23. That is actually true. It is what they call a slider food, it slides right through and you will not feel full very long. PLUS the good ones are full of calories such as creams, ect. I was told it was a last ditch resort and not to do it too often. Stinks because I LOVE soups!
