I agree that it may be a bit too soon for cheese. I did do the cream soups. Listen to your body and don't take things too fast!

Ok, if you read my response to this same question say before I got the band or a few months after I would have told you that I told no one really but my parents and my hubby. NOW I am telling people more (for good and bad) because I am proud of myself. I think that if you start out as a secret that is ok. But after awhile you may tell and that is ok too! I am surprised at how many I thought would be unsupportive or judgemental really aren't at all! Good luck either way to you!

I think your heart will tell you what the right thing to do is, and it is clear that either way you love kids, so I think where ever you end up, you will be great for kids! DO you need a decision now or can you wait until you are more sure of either?

My question is....DO those of you that did have your children vaccined tell them what they were for? Or really explained it? I think those that think they are giving girls free range to sleep around are wrong. They don't have to know what exactly it does. My girls will still be young enough though that we won't be talking about sex yet (dear, I hope) so maybe that skews my perspective.

ROTFL....I love all of these! But I still side with Jack. I am now telling people how I am loosing weight and I swear if one more persons says "oh the easy way" this chick will get getting her fills in jail for murder....I can not stand anymore of it!! I would rather have 15 kids all natural, all at once! BUT I do love my band and would do it all over again....lol..

Ok girl, if you are going to recommit yourself to the band, (which I think you should) you should do it the right way! First I hope you have a new dr, one who is not so damn rude! Secondly, I agree that you need to take time and NOT get a huge fill the first time. Talk with the Dr about all of the options, and help them decide what is best for you. One thing you need to recommit to is staying away from the foods that bring you down. You can do this, it is not too late! I agree that kids should always be in car seats. I remember that when I was young that we didn't wear seatbelts or car seats...what dummies are parents were! lol... I think you are spot on about bumper stickers being political placecards. I do not have any other than a sticker I made myself... I had the VW logo with "Anything boys can do girls can do better" in chrome. It was to keep my hubby away from my new car. It didn't work, someone (he still says it wasn't him) stole all the words off it and left just the VW logo. But after I thought about it, I did ask for it!! NOW no more bumberstickers, just my personalized plate...lol...but it says "Luv VW" as my plate number. I do love my car....

For me I had bee ignoring so many things for so long... I also would NOT let myself be photographed (now too.) I had begun to have severe pain in legs, back ect. I couldn't ride with my kids at Cedar Point. My kids were making excuses FOR ME, why we couldn't do things. BUT the one that put me over the top to do it..... I couldn't watch a movie at the theatre with my kids anymore.....I didn't fit in the seat!

I say there are always three sides to every story because how we see things is always skewed. There is side 1, side 2 and somewhere in the middle is the real truth! But in this case much like Marilyn Monroe we may never know the real truth!

I have never heard of meat tenderizer. I do the coke when I do get stuck. My surgeon has told me not to make it a habit. But the belch after I drink it ALWAYS works for me. I would cringe at meat tenderizer...ugh... Good luck dear! :mad:

I think once you find the right group with the right people it will be worth the drive! While I agree the boards are great you need people closer sometimes! :mad:

I am so sorry things are not going well for you, but I do not believe it is a reason to give up hope. To me it sounds like you need more of a support system, do you go to a group at all? You need someone that will help hold your hand, not belittle you for making bad choices! Seek a support group or a friend that is great with support! Never give up hope, it is never too long to change your thoughts and relationship with food. You really don't need a relationship, food is for sustainment not pleasure. That is the way I have to think about it, otherwise I go nuts. Good luck!

I agree, and men get so much more use out of them! THEY wear them until there is nothing left and the holes in their butt shine out like the moon! I have to tear my DH in half once they get nasty because he so does not care if his butt is falling out! :angry

Happy Valentines Day to all! If anyone else needs help staying away from the damn chocolate, and cookies and all of that other junk--my hand is ready to hold yours! Nathalie I had surgery August 1st @ Hurley in Flint. I live in Jackson. So the Colts winning was a big deal here. My next door neighbor is personal friends with Tony and I have met him a few times, didn't help me at all with the win. I think next year is our year too! I have been waiting for it so darn long it hurts! :girl_hug:

Ok, I have lots of pet peeves, well because I am a b....anyways. MY BIGGEST... Blowing your nose at the table especially in a resturant. Good lord, it's gross and disgusting! No one want to hear it, see it or worry if you are going to blow snot on them, please get off your lazy a$$ and go to the bathroom if you need to blow! That includes my dumb hubby! grr.....

Ok, I know I am not the only one who was afraid of the camera when they were larger. I mean there is only 1 picture of me at my highest because it was taken by my 7 year old and she wouldn't take NO for an answer. I am still now afraid of the camera. I would love to have updated pics so I can see my progress, but I hate the camera. I still will not sit on the other side of it. (I am a photographer.) Anyone else have or ever have this problem and how do you get over it? I am afraid to see fat me in photos, no matter what they are used for! Even if I do need to see them!
