If you are unable to eat solid protein, it sounds like you need a small unfill. When you are tight like it sounds like you are, just a small issue can cause swelling. I'd have .1 or .2 taken back out.

Well sort'a. Feels a little crappy but not crappy enough to stop me cold in my tracks. How are the rest of the bunnies!!!??? Can't wait for you guys to check in. Come on Bunnys'!
  4. Awesome! I have been know to say you are incharge of your own health care! WTG for making it happen!
  5. Yay! That is super exciting. I bet you want to hug Sue for doing what ever she did to make it happen. That would have really stunk if you had to wait. Congrats!
  6. Sorry your friend betrayed you. I hope you can heal and feel better about it in time. People are human and subject to error, sucks but we all screw up from time to time. I LMAO when I read your line......"did I just type run????" You are fuuunnny!
  7. You might not be eating enough, as crazy as that sounds.

That is a bummer! I had to loose 15 lbs for my surgery and that was difficult for me. Yes, it was! I am a self pay and went to TJ, MX and had Dr. Ortiz do my surgery. Was a snap and cost a fraction of what it would have in the states. Not to mention he is VERY good at his job and is one of the top lapband surgeons in the world. Can you tell I liked him....LOL
  10. Glad they took good care of you!
  11. Welcome back, I was wondering where you had been! Looking good!

I think it could be several things. Personal preferrance, it may be hard for us to understand, but some are attracted to a bigger sized person. Insecurity maybe.... Sorry to hear about your man friend. Have you asked him why he feels that way?

How much of a fill do you have in your band? Sounds like you are overfilled and need to take some fluid out of the band. A good fill will allow you to eat food. Not being able to eat is a good indication you are needing a unfill. If you are that restricted and do not have any fill in your band I would recommend a few days of malox and liquids to give you band some time to calm down. Sounds like you could be swollen.

I was glad to see bashful1269 responded. (Great response) Hang in there. Remember this is the beginning, also don't compair yourself to others. You are you.
  15. Very nice to see you are on top of being to tight! Hopefully you will be back to hard protein in no time!
  16. Even though my fill story is different it is still similar. I feel ya! I have had 4 fills. My band in a 10 cm 4 cc band, and it is filled to 2 cc's. I do have restriction and am starting to loose some weight. For a while I was not loosing lbs but inches. Being at the beginning of my lap band process, this through me for a loop. Inches but not lbs in the beginning?! Nothing like being different than everyone else. My band was placed on April 24, and since I began, I have lost 35 lbs. I am happy and as long as I don't compare myself with others it feels great. Not compairing myself has been the harder part. (Which I would have never guessed I would have had that issue.) I guess seeing others melt away, while I stood still was a hard pill to swallow. Your weight loss has been great! Glad you blog!
  17. Sounds like you had a great day! I love those days! Keep up the hard work!
  18. I believe it is all about working with the band and your body. If you can afford it, I think having a .1 cc fill would be great. You were to tight, now your feeling a bit to open. When working on the "sweet spot" a small amount is often what it takes. One good thing is you are dialed into what amount you will need. Only other thing to do is be more dissaplined in what you are eating.

  24. Idswim - no you are not out of line one bite. I appreciate your comments. I was in therapy but had to stop my sessions. Money is tight, so I blog what I feel think and do some other stuff on the side. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your story with me. It sounds like you have come along way.

How very sad.....that is very good of you to be there for your friend. Sometimes being there for ourselves is equally hard. I struggle with emotional eating as well. Did it make you feel any better....it never does for me. I actually feel worse afterwards....
