Is peanut butter a good source?
I have Peanut Butter everyday but only 1 tablespoon right before bed. I think it keeps me from getting shaky in the am. My Nut has no problem with it.

For the peeps who were 280-290 PRE OP...
I was 335 the day of surgery and am now down to 246. My surgery was May 11th. I have lost 133 total so far

When does hair loss begin?
I am 4 months out and it started falling out bad 2 days ago!!! I get all my Protein so I thought I was going to be get by without it happening but it is not looking that way. GRRRR

Hand on your heart - how bad were the first few days after getting sleeved?
Hello, The first few days were not that bad. My chest hurt a lot but the meds controlled it. I was very sleepy but I was shocked at how well I felt really quickly. Best thing I have ever done Good luck!

Confessions of a good girl gone bad...
I am 3 months out and feel like I have lost my mind. I am very emotional and cranky. I went the other day for my 3 month check up and they said it is our body hormones are going nuts cause it does not get what is going on. I am hoping it goes away quick!

It certainly is not easy. I think you may want to talk to a therepist about this. Sounds like you may still have some unresolved issues around food. Good luck!

Dreading the Nausea!
I only felt queazy one time and never even threw up! They gave me zofran. Good luck!

When you can take pills again?
They gave me pills right after I woke up from surgery. I do not swallow pills whole so I wish they did not but they did!

4.5 weeks out and all of sudden pressure and a little pain in chest.
Hello, I have done really well in recovery and I do have reflux but take 20mg of prilosec so I thought that was under control. For the last few days everytime I drink and eat I feel pressure and a bit of pain. I am going to dr tomorrow anyway but wanted to see if anyone else is dealing with it.

Questions-14 days post op
I am 4 weeks out and eat 1/4 cup. That is what my surgeon said to do. Maybe you should try to eat a bit less. If I eat more then that I get the throat feeling too. For the potty thing I used the Fleet bulb suppository and it worked great.

I was sleeved May 11 and have not had true "Hunger" yet. I do take 40 mg omprezole because acid was an issue. My surgeon said that it could be because of acid you feel hungry.

What does "full" feel like
Full to me is when I get pressure in my chest and start making little noises. I try and stop before then but it happens sometimes

Time off work - Short term disability
I did because I am out for a few weeks (due to the job requirements) I did have time saved but not enough.

May 9th-13th sleevers
I was sleeved May 11th. I can get my fluids and Protein in but really just had some creamed Soup today. I do not like Isopure but it is so high in protein so I mix it with Raspberry Ice to mask the taste.

4 Days Post-Op Blues
Anything warm has helped me. Water and even my fave crystal light is not going down easy.. Hope you feel better! I am sure in teh sme boat!
