  1. As long as the water isn't coming back up, then I'd say you are not drinking too fast.
  2. Does anyone else have gas pains all day?. I was fine when I was just doing thin liquids, but I'm about to move on tomushies, so I've been trying some new things. As soon as I eat, I have gas pains in my back for the rest of the day. Will this eventually stop happening?
  3. If you go to sparkpeople.com, or myfitnesspal, they will give you your recommended daily calories. For me it says 1430 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week.
  4. I have no advice, but good luck sweetie.
  5. Happens to me when I take one of my meds. I started cutting it in half and it's better now.
  6. All doctors are so different! I don't get soft foods until week 6.
  7. Wow, solids after 1 week is really fast. I am still on full liquids and can feel restriction. My band is empty.
  8. I've had diarrhea every day since surgery. I'm on full liquids.
  9. I've had diarhea every day since surgery, which was a week ago. Today is especially bad! I don't expect to have normal poo's at this point, but I'm kinda scared to leave the house! Help!?
  10. I burp when I "eat." Seems like it happens as the pouch empties. I'm only a week out though.
  11. My surgeon is 33 and gorgeous. If I wasn't married I'd definitely have a crush on him! lol
  12. I think we all WANT to eat real food, and soon enough we will get to. =) Stay focused. It won't last forever. Think positive!
  13. Wow, we are really so different. i havn't had a single ounce of hunger since i was banded on wednesday. I wonder why its so different for all of us. I feel really lucky.
  14. How is it harder? Does it come back up if you try to eat?
  15. Here are mine, 3 days post op.
  16. I wouldn't worry about it yet, it could take a few more fills.
  17. I would definitely not eat any solids at this point. You could tear the sutures inside and that would be a major problem. I only had to be on clear liquids for 2 days and then it was on to full liquids, which really is like a feast compared to that darn pre-op diet. lol I think you just need to make a commitment to yourself to follow the rules, so that you will have the best outcome possible. Good luck!
  18. does it kind of feel like a tightness in your chest?
  19. My surgeon has me on full liquids from day3 to day 14, which includes Protein Shakes, cream soups, cream of wheat , and pudding.
  20. I am post op day 3, and i really dont have any gas pains. i had bad gas pains right after surgery for a few hours, but after that it was just muscle and incision pain. My pain today is probably about a 4 and I'm only taking tylenol. Getting in and out of bed was really hard the first 2 nights but it was doable. I do still have some gas but it isn't painful. Good luck! It gets better everyday!
