  1. Wow! Your pictures are really impressive! You went from a plump Mom to a smokin hot Mama! AND it looks like you didnt lose your boobs! Rock on! Cali

  2. I see you're just joining...welcome...lots of great support and brutally honest answers here...your ticker indicates you must be a low BMIer...that can make it tough because people with a couple of hundred to lose lose faster than us...let me know if theres anything you need or want to know!

  3. Beautiful pix! Love the flip flop tan...I never remember to sunscreen my feet but I think we both should be doing that! You really look beautiful....pix like yours keep the rest of us (newbies) motivated!!! Cali

  4. Here's american slang for you, "DUH!" meaning I cant believ I am so stupid I assumed (dont know why) youwere a brit...I did that to another aussie and apparently didnt learn from my mistake! I saw your bandster profile and saw that liek me you self payed but I wonder how the AUD converts...I payed $15,000...ouch! Our healthcare system is a joke. But worth it so far. Guess I was whinging there.

  5. High praise coming from you...thanks!!!

  6. Dude, you look awesome! It looks like you went from age 45 (sorry) to 22! Those pix are an inspiration to all...you must be kickin ass and not bothering to take names these days!!! Cali

  7. Well I hope I get tighter becaue right now...nothing. And I cant get in for another fill till Nov 6th! The office seems very busy. Well I just have my fingers crossed that, like uou, it snugs down...the thing is, it was my first fill (3ccs) in a 10cc band!I just dont see how it can tighten up later but really the whole thing is a bit of a mystery!!

  8. Glad to hear it...might be time to change that Avatar...can you morph Fred to skinny?

  9. Hey ! How are you doing and how did your surgery turn out? I always check for your blog but you havent done one in a while...

  10. I agree entirely...I felt lucky to have the tiny shred of willpower to maintain my weight during the I-need-fill- phase!!! You are right, if I could lose and maintain on my own why would I have gotten a band...tried to binge a little the other night, the band said no in a very assertive way!!! Good luck!!

  11. Hey...how are you doing these days???

  12. Beautiful pictures! You look like one of those lucky girls (skinny b*****s) who has never had to think about her weight and has always just been tiny and beautiful!

  13. That diet is probably the hardest part but will make the procedure easier for your doc and therefore an easier and less painful recovery for you....hang in there but also be kind to yourself!

  14. Just any big drugstore. It is a huge white band with velcro. The whole thing is stretchy and it goes around your waist from under boob to top of panties...it really holds your gut in tight so nothing can move and hurt....I woke up with mine on and was told to keep it on for two weeks except to shower...send a friend out for one!!!

  15. Just looking at your ticker...you are halfway!! That is awesome! Congrats...I always like your blogs...get some papaya, man!

  16. Thanks for putting up more pix...You are an inspiration to many!!!

  17. I cant believ how good you look! It looks like you carried your weight in the middle like me and you really have a tiny waist now...that really gives me hope!!! Thanks so much for posting. I guess the TT scar is just below the top of the swimsuit bottoms? You really got a fantastic result! Cali

  18. Thanks for the info, the sizes sound the same be cause I AM the starting out you! Same height and weight and I am wearing an 18 or 16 so I think its about the same. I went on the web to see what that body lift was and saw some impressive pix! Also I think most of my weight is around the middle as yours seemed to be so I am hoping to get to where you are now...cant wait to take those jeans pix!!! PS: I'm in central California, US! Its so great that we can talk to people everywhere...the issues are universal!!! Cali

  19. Did you have your body lift before or after your baby? If before how did the pregnancy affect your beautiful waist?!? Maybe since you're so tall you didnt get too big with the pregnancy? Are you back in those true religion jeans??

  20. Hey Muiri, How is it going? Have you found a doc you like yet?

  21. Hope you're doing well...D

  22. I wish you lots of luck and would support whatever you choose...but...I have done a lot of research and I think the sleeve is a little too drastic for you since you havent been lifelong obese. The sleeve definitely had a greater risk of complications. Long incision means a longer area to potentially leak or get infected and they can call it a sleeve but its really a stomach removal! Well, I hope I dont sound like I know everything, cuz I definitely dont, and Good Luck!!! Cali

  23. Hey! I am getting my first fill on friday...got stuck the other nite on dry pasta and wondering if that means I don t need a fill?! Other times I swear i can eat anything and everything!! As you know I got 2cc at time of surgery and it had to be taken out that nite...how much do you think I should ask for??

  24. I have no doubt you will do just that. I feel that I am at a good place restriction-wise and that I have to start getting some exercise to get off this plateau! I have so many silly excuses I could write a book...I would usually wish you good luck but I really dont think you'll need it. I hope you'll be blogging, maybe the details of your preop diet will help others...by that, of course, I mean ME!

  25. You are always an inspiration! I thoughtI'd add my two cents about your discussion with Kartman about intensity vs duration. Yes, they do equal out. I takes the same amount of energy to climb a hill whether you wlk or run.One is faster and more intense and the other is longer and easier in intensity but on the same hill the work achieved(calories burned) are exactly the same! keep doing what you are doing and setting n example for us!!
