Hello dminson, I am having my band put on that day also. I start my liquid diet on the 10th, and pre-op on the 9th. When do you start your liquid diet or are you required to do one?

I am sorry to hear about your back injury, I know you pain I have back pains (21 years worth). But glad to see that you want to get back on the band wagon. Just approved last week thursday, my journey is just begining. Gook luck you can do it.

All tri-care required of me was the referral from my pmc , 1 nutritional visit and go to a seminar . The sergon requested that i take a sleep study test b/s of my ashma. Now on the C-PAP machine, but that help with the approval. Was approved on Friday.:thumbup: It only took two day from the time the doctor's office submitted my claim. Good

The sugar free kool-aid is real good. They have diff. kinds. That is all my family drinks. Wal-Mart also have there brand that is cheaper.

Yesterday I found out that I was approved for my surgery. :ohmy: The doctor’s office that is going to be doing my surgery submitted the paperwork to the insurance company (Tri-Care Prime) for the approval on 25 March 2009 and was approved on the 26 March. I thought that it was going to take longer than that. My husband said that it might take a week. This morning I received a phone call from the doctor’s office to let me know that I was approved. They set my appointment to see the doctor for pre-op on the 9th of April 2009, start my liquid diet on the 10th of April 2009, and my surgery on the 22nd of April 2009. All of the dates are tentative, on the out come of the cardiologist. So my journey begins. :tongue_smilie: How do I join the April bandsters?
