Anyone else having the band on this date???

Hello dminson, I am having my band put on that day also. I start my liquid diet on the 10th, and pre-op on the 9th. When do you start your liquid diet or are you required to do one?

I start my pre op diet on April 18th, 5 days prior to my surgery. My surgery will be in St. Louis with Dr. Minkin.

My date is also April 22nd! I go April 10th for my pre-op tests, and that is also when I begin my pre-op diet. I then have a follow-up with my Dr. on April 15th followed by surgery on the 22nd. I can't wait! My surgery is an outpatient, is that how your surgery is? I'm going to be traveling an hour to the dr. so I'm considering staying in a hotel that night. Any suggestions?

My date is April 22nd also! I'm excited, nervous and a whole bunch of other emotions too.

I begin my liquid diet on April 8th - next week!!

I have pre-op on april 18th i think and an education session on my birthday which is april 14th. I also have to see my general dr about 7 days before surgery.

My insurance made me wait 6 months and now its actually 7 months since i made a decision to do this... a lot has happened and I wish I didn't have to wait, but I'm glad the time is here.

My surgery is April 14. I am already on the Pre-op diet. I am getting excited also. All of my appointments are finished and now just the wait!!
