Hey everyone. I was banded Wednesday and I am on the road to recovery....woo hoo. I stayed overnight in the hospital and came home late Thursday night. My first night home was rough but I started feeling better yesterday afternoon. I am having trouble getting all the liquids i'm suppose to have in a days time, especially the protein drinks, they make me nauseated. Well talk to you all soon. Keep up the good work everyone. -

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to wish the best of luck to all the bandsters today. My surgery is tomorrow. I have been on clear liquids for 3 days and much to my surprise, it hasn't been bad at all. I will check in with you all on Thursday when I get home from the hospital. Keep up the good work!!!:crying: -

How is the liquid diet going. Mine was hard, still have 2 more days on the diet. I will be coming home the same day. Is that a requirement of your doctor that you stay in the hospital over night? Good luck and keep me posted.

Congratulations everyone. I still have 9 days before I get banded. I am starting to get nervous and excited at the same time. I'm wishing all the luck to everyone getting banded and to all that have already got banded. -
I'm required to do 3 days preop. So I will start mine on the 19th. I will spend the night in the hospital. Good Luck

My Pro-Op diet is for 13 days. My surgery in outpatient. I can't wait. Keep in touch and let my know how your liquid diet is going.

I start my pre op diet on April 18th, 5 days prior to my surgery. My surgery will be in St. Louis with Dr. Minkin.
